My go-to hotel when travelling to Telford for work. Friendly staff, clean & comfortable rooms and a good pub next door for your evening meal and a decent brekkie.

Can’t fault the hotel, though the local area seems to be where the local boy racers gather to rev engines and pop exhausts… obviously nothing the hotel can do about that but worth knowing that it can get a bit noisy in the evenings.

Great location and value for.money

The food options were not great but work is ongoing to improve so this will improve. Also lots of boy racers around. Didn't really bother us but .ight do for some.

Wheelchair bound disabled guy with MS. Only live a mile down the road but we were having work done on our flooring and decorating at home. Initially booked two nights & then had to extend to three. The room was spacious, easy to navigate, clean &! comfortable. The bathroom was a wet room which is a massive bonus. All the staff are friendly, helpful, professional & courteous and the location is perfect for a short visit to Telford or as digs for contractors and the like. The pub & restaurant have an impressive menu of food and drink and are a thirty second walk from the hotel. There is an Asda, BurgarKing, Greggs and Starbucks two minutes walk away from the hotel. The beds are clean, comfortable and the A/C makes sure your room is always at a comfort level you will enjoy.

For a four year old hotel the decor seems a little dated &. the bathroom could be a little more modern but I am really only nitpicking here as over all they stay was wonderful.

Very easy to find, just on the outskirts of Telford. Restaurant in separate building so not much noise. Able to park directly outside the hotel, so ideal. Room was spacious and clean with everything we needed - stayed in Marstons Inn before near Lincoln so knew what to expect - excellent nights sleep - very comfy bed. There were other guests staying there but hardly heard them. Very good value for money and we'd stay in one of these inns again. Highly recommended

Bedside tables are too small in all of these rooms! A bit more greenery directly around the pub/hotel would be nice?

Excellent value for money! Very spacious and clean room Kind staff Complimentary tea and coffee in the room Large and very comfy bed! Cot available for our toddler Pub with playground just across the road Service station with lots of convenience shops just down the road Easy access from motorway - perfect for an overnight stay travelling from Wales to London

Although the location is quiet, there is a road nearby and we were unlucky due to silly drivers riding their cars at high speed and beeping horns late at night - but I assume this does not happen often! Room 105 was just in front of reception and every guest would have pass in front of it (noise) However we had a good night rest :)

Room was very clean with ample bedding. Some amenities provided for a beverage and snack. Coffees options including decaf, tea sugar, milk and 2 snack packs of biscuits. Good size flat screen TV. Plenty of mirrors. Coat hangers. Bed has a thoughtful charge point for mobile phones both UK and USB points. Shower was efficient and easy to use. Well placed handle to help climb in and out. I slept soundly with little to no noise from adjoining rooms. Wifi was free with a decent introduction from reception who are available should other services be needed. Hotel is separate from pub which allows for extra level of privacy if required but only a short walk from hotel entrance. Location is easy enough to find if using a Sat Nav. Breakfast at the nearest pub has a great range with attentive staff. Would stay again.

No electric charge points for cars near the hotel, the nearest point is a 2 mile drive. Rooms well suited for individual, couples or sharing. Unable to comment on family rooms.

We travelled as a family and booked 4 rooms. These were adjacent to each other, staff catered for young children brilliantly. A number of the party had allergy food issues, again information, guidance etc were addressed by staff. A convenient location near Ironbridge . Rooms were comfortable, air conditioned and very clean. We ate in the restaurant adjacent to hotel that evening which was an enjoyable and tasty experience. Staff were sublime, even serving our own birthday cake(allergens) to the table. Breakfast the following morning was delightful, tasty and plentiful. I have no reservations in recommending this hotel and restaurant to anyone .

Being a bit picky, having booked the rooms and restaurant as a family and having one large table, it was a little disappointing that the hotel hadn"t placed us on a, table to sit together for breakfast. The One helpful member of staff serving did her best to accommodate us at adjacent tables. Saturday evening, there was some distant noise nuisance from set of boy racers, screeching tyres and revving engines...seemed to be doing timed laps. To be fair this wasn"t an issue to us, but if you are looking for absolute peace and tranquillity, it may be for you. The hotel cant mitigate against this, a matter for the police?

The Rooms are about 50 metres from the Pub . Its a standard Motel setup. The Room was very comforatble- excellent matress/pillows. Shower was hot and powerful. Had own Wall mounted thermostat to change room temperature. TV Worked. Free WiFi. Daytime Checkin Staff Very Friendly and Welcoming. Spent the Evening in the Pub- Some Great Marstons Beers- Had a Meal as Well. Pub Staff Very Friendly/Polite and efficient. Returned to the Pub next morning for Breakfast- Table Service from Different Staff (but equally polite and friendly). The place is of fairly new build. Across the Road is a Out of Town Shopping Estate with Supermarket, Starbucks, Greggs, McD etc. Location is excellent for exploring Shrewsbury (30mins away by Car) and Ironbridge Museums (10mins away by car). Ground floor rooms appear good for Wheelchair Access. Room and Bathroom was spotless.

Not a problem specific to this venue- one I have found at all similar places (Travel Lodge/Premier Inn etc) is that the Room Door Closers are really powerful and the Digital CArd Swipe Locks make a real racket when operated- so you can hear other Guests Arriving late or Departing early - no matter how hard the Guests try to do this quietly. Not sure if the Management have any chance of improving this- its a design fault.

Tea and coffee making facilities were recharged daily and plenty of milk too! Comfortable room, heating was easy to use and warm up the room a little. Very clean and hand wash and shower gel also provided.

Check in seemed to take a while and only one room was offered when 2 had been booked. Also asked about eating in the restaurant which we had NOT booked, but it was too busy to accommodate us, as such we asked for alternatives as we were ravenous. This prompted a couple of calls of other restaurants, which was very kind, however they were also too busy to accommodate us, however, upon looking out of the window of my room, there was a Burger King within about 10 steps of the hotel! Had a wonderful burger and chips for tea as well as a tasty ice cream. Perhaps should have asked if that would have been appropriate?

My go-to for my monthly work trip to Telford. In the 18 months I’ve been working up there I’ve tried a few hotels around the Donnington area with varying degrees of success… Fallowfield is definitely the fave (and probably one of the cheapest too!). Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy bed, a decent evening meal / brekkie from the pub and a 24-hr garage 2 mins walk away when those late night “I fancy a choccie bar” attacks hit! When you’re travelling for business, what more do you need?!
