I liked how welcoming the staff made us feel when we first arrived. The staff at reception was very helpful with breakfast times and also about if we wanted to eat in the restaurant. The staff in the bar were great, they were very helpful and made us feel welcomed, we even eat in the bar because the restaurant got a couple of big groups of people arrive. The food was fantastic and there was even a really good option for my friend who is glutton free, when we were ordering our food the staff was very knowledgeable about what was on offer for her to eat and even mentioned alternatives for her to have.

Very modern, clean, well-furnished and tastefully decorated room. We booked 2 rooms and each room had matching wallpaper and window blinds which gave a feel of uniqueness. The staff were very helpful, friendly and highly responsive and had a strong sense of customer service - they all seemed very happy doing their jobs. The manager Aimee who leads the team was very warm and professional, Breakfast at £7 was extremely good value for money with a generous serving and offered a wide variety. The dining area and breakfast area was also tastefully decorated and very beautiful.

The room was very cold upon arrival and ensuring the room had been warmed up pre-arrival would have been a lovely welcome. Having a wider breakfast time slot or advertising the breakfast time in the info prior to booking would be helpful info. It worked for us but if our commitments required us to leave earlier, it might not have worked.

1st room was stifling hot with only 1 window and and no sitting area other than the bed, fan was provided but due to power cut I requested another room, we were moved to a beautiful room with chairs to sit and 3 windows! Breakfast was provided by a very friendly and chatty chef. Poached eggs were perfect. Evening meal was just as good although not hot but I didn't complain so the staff didn't know, they were extremely busy and had been catching up from the half day power cut. Our other 3 meals were perfect. All staff exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much trouble for anyone.

Room 4 needs air con if possible. I couldn't stay in that room in summer again. I didn't find fault with anything else other than they need beer mats on tables in bar.

Everything about this place was superb. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfy. We slept well. The food was delicious, we had breakfast and dinner. The atmosphere and vibe were so warm.

I honestly can't think of anything. If you are expecting a silent night then this probably isn't for you. Noise stopped at around 11.30pm as the pub settled down. It wasn't overly loud though.

Everything about the hotel and our stay was above standard, the manager was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel most welcome. The room was clean, tidy, well decorated and comfortable. The full-English breakfast was well cooked delicious and generous.

Poor temperature in our Bedrooms and poor Internet reception. Also the pub below our rooms were noisy but did quieten down and stop at 11pm. Unfortunately, we could not get internet reception either from the wi-fi or our own phone data. It would appear that reception in the hotel and surroundings are blocked, as we were able to get connection half a mile away - but not at the Hotel.

Location was good, quiet setting although a pub there was no disturbance after hours. Helpful staff to give breakfast a little earlier Good bed Dark room with curtains closed Food good

Breakfast was not until 9am whilst staff were helpful to get it quickly, its a bit late if you have activities planned with no times on the page visible when booking.

Good location for venue, superb staff, friendly and very helpful. Rooms are a good size and nicely decorated. would return again if in the area and would recommend for a good value stay

Nothing in particular re the property - very minor point was the toilet roll holder was loose. The breakfast choice was a little limited in regards to cereals and a couple of the cooked breakfast items were a little cold. The food tasted good, was just the temperature.

Great food and breakfast. Lovely outdoor views from beer garden especially in good weather. Spacious room (we were in the 'Royal Lily'). Location great to visit local places of interest and train station close by too.

Difficult to park after returning from a day out when pub busy. Room very noisy due to live acts but did quite down after bar closes. Was told we didn't have a table for dinner in the restaurant and had to eat in the bar even though we were staying guests and pre booked the table.

Excellent location for Telford International Centre if attending a conference, only a 10 minute drive. The hotel was immaculate and the staff were super friendly The food was lovely Just overall a great stay and would highly recommend

Staff were great, really friendly and welcoming! :) Room was absolutely lovely, bathroom was really lovely, and bed was really comfy! Only issue was the walls seemed a little thin in the mornings, could hear loud chatting, but was only for 5 mins or so. Location was great for us as we were driving, was really close to the Hoo Zoo which was handy for us. A short drive in to town for a variety of shops and restaurants. View outside from the beer garden was stunning.
