It was a lovely room overlooking the north beach

We would thoroughly have enjoyed our visit if the hotel had not been closed for the month of January. Within a matter of days of booking the hotel rang to say that they were closing for the month. I have answered your questions because we have stayed there on a number of occasions and have always been well looked after. What I am amazed at is that Booking.com were not aware and days before arrival date were wishing usa happy stay. I am afraid it does not inspire confidence for future reference.

Fantastic sea view, reasonable facilities, very clean, drinks facilities available, personal cleaning products in bathroom, exceptionally clean bed linen and towels. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Would have liked to have been able to open room window, however fully appreciate that the hotel was in need of new windows which are extremely costly. We'll done to owners for bouncing back post Covid.

Greeted with a smile on arrival all the Staff were Pleasant Polite and Helpful. Freshly laundered sheets and towels, bathroom was clean and plenty of hot water to shower. Had breakfast in the restaurant good choice of food. Plus a Beautiful Views overlooking St Catherine Island and Caldey Island.

I agree the Hotel is looking tired but so are most of the hotels along the Esplanade. I’m so glad I didn’t go by some of the negative reviews I read on here. I had a Clean bed, Clean Towels, Clean Bathroom and a Kettle with plenty of Tea/Coffee supplies.Plus amazing views from the hotel restaurant and terraces.

Iv got to be honest the potential for this hotel is amazing , after talking with the receptionist she informed us that the hotel has only been taking over since may and they have big plans ahead I can’t wait to see it, my partner and I will be going back next year for sure to see what it’s like , there is room for improvement for sure but that’s what happens when you take over from another company ,the bed was great , the tv was great , the receptionist was so friendly and helpful as for the other staff amazing too very very well done to you all me and my wife are looking forward to next year , thank you to all of you what a great team

To be honest the decor was dated but that’s ok , the food I’m afraid was dreadful we couldn’t eat it and we are not people who just moan so left it , but when we told the receptionist she was so understanding and apologised and didn’t charge us for it but we were prepared to pay , that’s all I can moan about to be fair

The hotel is located on the cliffs directly behind the walled town, the views over Tenby bay and beach are exceptional, Waking every morning and overlooking Caldy island and St Catherine's island is just one of life's treats, the hotel was lovely and the staff were so friendly, just a short walk into the centre of town where there is a mixture of shops and cafes/restaurants which cater for all eating preferences, Tenby is one of our go-to places and will be returning shortly as we do every year.

It isn't a major issue but the hotel as no parking facilities but there is a public car park located close to the hotel which cost another additional £24 for our 2 day stay.

The property’s location is ideal for exploring the town of Tenby and is literally on the edge of the sea. The staff are friendly, attentive and professional. Everyone we encountered went the extra mile to make our stay special. The building itself has a great deal of charm and character, and even though there are lots of steps and stairs, everything that can be done to accommodate mobility issues has been done. True accessibility would be impossible to achieve in such a historical building, but what can be done has been done.

The hotel is a grade II listed building dating back to the 1830s. It was originally a terrace of houses and converted into a hotel much later. As such some parts of the hotel appear a little ‘tired’ with creaky floors, lots of steps and stairs, etc. The hotel is, however, extremely clean; rooms are fresh and airy; sea views are magnificent and service is hospitable, professional and courteous.

The room was huge and the balcony view was stunning. Prompt and friendly checkin. We had afternoon tea when we arrived looking out onto the beach and the staff we very accommodating. The location of the hotel is brilliant, easy to get to the beach and shops. The hotel was very dog friendly, dogs and their owners were given breakfast in a different part of the dining by the door so easy access for the owners without being near the main part of the restaurant which was good as not everyone is a dog lover (wish mine liked other dogs as the hotel was so accommodating from what we could see). Breakfast was nice, self service and staff were friendly.

Parking was very busy in the nearby carpark and this was in February so will be a nightmare in the peak season think we would have ended up being in the multi storey which is further. Huge room but attention to detail was missed ripped curtains that I used my hair clips to pull together so that they shut. Room would have been lovely due to the size to have swapped the four poster for a lovely king-size bed. Windows in the restaurant needed cleaning so that the view could be really appreciated.

Fantastic location with gorgeous sun terrace. I love the view looking right over the beach. Breakfast was lovely - buffet style but plentiful and gorgeous views over the sea. Clean over all.

Everything needs updating. Light pull in bathroom was just a piece of string. Screws missing in coat hook on door. I felt everything repaired on a budget. Painting in dining room only one patchy coat. I would still stay here again because of the views.

huge room with a massive bay window & door we could open to go put onto a shared balcony, it was brilliant for us as we had our dog , but it was blowing so much he was terrified. a fab sea view and Caldey and St Catherine's Islands. Breakfast was lovely with a separate room dogs could go to, with treats, toys for the dogs it was so nice going to breakfast all together not separately will be booking again will not stay anywhere else now in Tenby as they are so dog friendly. Other places need to follow suit.

a few stains on the carpet and room could have done with paint, it didn't spoil our stay at all .
