Canaston Oaks

This is a delightful family run, high quality, well maintained B & B. The interior design and colour palette for the guest areas is just as we would choose. Every one of the Staff were friendly and welcoming and committed to making our weeks stay here perfect. On arrival, we had booked a charcuterie tray and a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Very good. The evening before departure we booked a With a pizza with a personal selection of toppings very tasty and filling.

We could not think of anything to dislike about this property.

The room and location of room was great .. I had a pooch with me and it was very well thought out in terms of garden access and dog friendly throws, towels and bowls. The breakfast was amazing and very relaxing with great views in the breakfast room. I actually booked for 2 nights and then booked for an additional 2 when I was there! Would recommend to all.... Staff were amazing and very accommodating, like on the last day when I was allowed to invite my family for breakfast (my Brother lives in Saundersfoot) and it was fab!

Nothing... all Fab!

The location was excellent as a base for our visit to Narbeth ,Haverfordwest and St David’s .Canaston Barns were exceptional ,Breakfast was delicious We stayed in the Junior Suite which was very tastefully decorated, the double shower was easily accessible ,the conservatory which led out to the garden area was an added bonus .The disabled parking area was very close to our accomodation .Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful .Looking forward to our next visit .

Everything was Superb

Accommodation was excellent as on the website. Family who run the B&B were welcoming and proactive in giving information on local activities and 'where' to visit. Dvds and games were available to borrow. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was great to be able to make tea and coffee in the room. It was a lovely touch that there were Welsh cakes and shortbread along with water in the room on arrival. The breakfast was very good, varied and lots of it!

Only one small comment. Would have preferred plain bread with the poached egg option for breakfast as the sourdough was drowned in butter which made it very rich. Maybe a thick slice from an uncut farmhouse would have been a better option.

Setting and surroundings, two lovely dogs greeting you on your way to breakfast. Welcome biscuits and Welsh Cakes was a kind touch. Lovely room and a great place to stay. Easy car parking.

It’s such a shame the weather was unkind to us - it would have been nice to experience sitting outside our room on the chairs provided with a nice cup of tea. We can’t blame Canaston Oaks for the weather. Also, personally I would have liked fresh fruit on the breakfast menu, but I must add the standard of breakfast was excellent and there were plenty of other options available. Breakfast was always served with a smile.

charming B & B near Narberth in beautiful Pembrokeshire. Rooms were comfortable. Host was pleasant and knowledgeable. Grounds/views were beautiful.

our friends’ room didnt have a window that could open, which meant they had to open the door to get fresh air. Information Guide in the room had lots of strict “rules” which seemed a bit jarring. While we enjoyed the central location, those without a car might prefer to be closer to or in town for walking access to restaurants, especially given strict rules about what food can and cannot be brought on to the property. Seemed a bit pricey.

Excellent hosts and a really warm welcome Loved the additional touches, earl grey tea, a fridge and fresh milk, coffee and a cafetière all in the room. Milo and Charlie, the dogs, were delightful. Breakfast was delicious. Attention to detail was outstanding, service, atmosphere and the view were incredible

We could hear the rooms nextdoor to us which meant we worried about them hearing us, but it was minor.

There was nothing we can find fault everything was excellent The staff did everything and more to help and please us The location was perfect with the most beautiful scenery The food was delicious and very well cooked and prepared Can’t find any thing to complain Really lovely family and only wished we lived nearer to visit again If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would

NOTHING

The room was amazing, lovely and clean. Big bathroom, bath, jets and shower over. All toiletries you could need, and lovely white towels. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was superb, couldn't ask for better. I was so full after eating it I didn't want much for the rest of the day. I would recommend this to anyone. The owners and staff were so welcoming and caring.

Lovely location! Nicely laid out dining room and honesty bar for drinks. Good quality toiletries in room plus a fridge. Great terrace with wonderful views of the countryside. Good breakfast, very hygienic presentation of jams, fruits etc. Loved the two resident dogs🙂

Breakfast time 8.30-9.30 a bit too short, 8-10 would be better. Stipulating no food or drink allowed in room unless ordered with them.
