Lovesgrove Country Guest House

Breakfast was ordered the evening before (on arrival), and cooked freshly at the time requested, it was excellent! The guesthouse was situated on the main road into Pembroke Dock & clearly signposted, perfect for catching the ferry! The house was sited in approx. 2 acres of grounds which was perfect for exercising my dog after a long trip from Bristol.

The staff at Lovesgrove go out of their way to be helpful and super friendly. There is a wonderful big sitting room where you can. Socialise in the evenings in total comfort. The room was exceptionally big and the bathroom was very modern and beautiful. Breakfast every morning was made freshly and there were many choices. All of them delicious. Lovesgrove is in a beautiful part of the world with lovely wooded roads all around. It is close to Pembroke castle, the water and so many wonderful things to see and do in the area.

My room was right next to the kitchen back door and in between the laundry and the kitchen. So I had to keep my window and curtains closed because of people walking backwards and forwards between the two each morning. If the curtain or window was open, I felt a bit exposed as they walked past and I could hear what they were talking about. I would have preferred if the window was frosted glass or tinted.

We were greeted with a warm welcome to the property. The lovely Laura hosted us for the weekend. She was fantastic, easy to talk to and had a great sense of humour. The room and the facilities were outstanding and of hi spec. Breakfast was amazing with a variety of options to suit everyone. We also had the pleasure of meeting Deb, again great sense of humour, and every aspect of her work was faultless, even ironed my partners dress on the first night for her. Will most definitely come back, had a wonderful experience.

Nothing to dislike

- Very Clean across the guest house and in the room. - Good amenities in the room. - Breakfast ample options. - Friendly and helpful Staff, John is a very lovely host. - John even allowed us to have our takeaway dinner in the kitchen room n use plates/cutlery which was really comfortable. - Away from the town so less noise disruption. - More like for Information - Postcode SA72 4RX in navigation tells you that you have reached your destination ahead of the actual location. Keep driving for 2-3 minutes until you see the board for "Bangesten Hall" which is the actual left turn.

More like an observation - A double bed room for two adults could have been a little bigger in size. We were in Room 2.

We very much enjoyed staying at Lovesgrove guest house. The location is great, for easy access to the coast, and other amenities. The host is very friendly and accommodating, and so are the hotel staff. We stayed in the family room that is sufficiently large for three of us, with great views. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of fresh stuff, fruits and was cooked to order. If we visit Pembrokeshire again, will definitely book a room from this guest house.

Virtually nothing to dislike.

John and his team where very Welcoming a perfect stay in every way .. we where Welcomed by Debbie who was just arriving to start her shift she didn't hesitate to check us in with all the information we needed to make our stay as smooth as possible....what a diamond she is X......the room was spacious spotlessly clean ....excellent breakfast and John and his Daughter Laura where the hostesses with the mostessses wish we could have stayed longer 🤩

Nothing a perfect stay

Fantastic place, very comfortable , clean with excellent staff. We were welcomed by John, a great guy who will do anything to please his guests. Beautiful settings situated in an area easily accessible for shops, petrol stations, and lovely eating places, all of which John is happy to advise you about. Children will love the local facilities like Folly Farm, The wildlife Park and oakwood theme park. The bedrooms are soooooo relaxing and larger than expected with very comfy beds. En suite was very large and no shortage of nice items like pure white 100% cotton towels and toiletries. Breakfast was freshly cooked and plenty to suit your needs. All the feedback left to this guest house has been well deserved. This place offers comfort, friendly staff and even a safe parking space off the road after a long trip. I would recommend this place over and over again. Thanks to everyone, especially for all your patients and kind gestures towards our 5 year old. Well done, all your hard work is appreciated we hope to return soon.

As much as you would expect to find something you don't like, then sorry I can honestly say NOTHING. Everything as Del Boy would say is JUST PERFECT

My partner & I had a marvellous night at this superb Guest house. There was a very warm welcome from the fabulous Debbie, who went above & beyond. Wonderful John even collected our supper for us! Our stay was blissful and relaxing. Excellent facilities and lots of thoughtful touches to make it extra comfortable. We wish we could have stayed for longer. Thank you!

Nothing - it was all perfect.

The room was really spacious with a couch and a chair in the room so you could sit in a proper seat to relax. The bathroom was also lovely and spacious with a good sized walk in shower. John received us and was very friendly and helpful with restaurant tips and so.

The mattress was a bit firm for me.

From the minute we rung up (gone 9pm!) We felt really taken care of and welcome. My sister and I with 3 kids arrived late and John welcomed us and even took our heavy bags (a real gent). The rooms were lovely, as were ALL the staff. Good choice of breakfast cereals and cooked breakfast choices. John was a great host and has a great happy team. The place was very secure with cameras and spotlessly clean. Comfy firm beds. Would return next time in west Wales. 16mins sat nav to Oakwood I think it was. Large shops not too far away in car. A great stay.
