Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Birmingham

Amanda was absolutely AMAZING. I left my wallet at home and she sat aside to help me in every way possible in less than 10 minutes!!!! she was so sweet, professional, and considerate. Mr. Markese was such a GEM! He was such a gentleman in making sure me and my friend got to our room safely and ensured any concerns we had were resolved. These two truly made my stay the best I’ve had in bham in YEARS!

unfortunately our room looked unkept properly. our beds looked like someone recently slept in it. And the toilet was used and not flushed. the floor was not slept either

I liked the location, cleanliness, and the soft pillows. Also, I liked that the check in girl was nice but failed to tell us time for breakfast and checkout time! Ya know the basics. I do like the check out time being 12:00 pm

The downside was the $15 per night for parking and not being able to find a parking spot. We had to move cones and luckily get a spot. If that didn’t happen we would’ve had to park elsewhere and risk tickets or towing. We live out of town so it could’ve been bad.

definitely one of the nicest hotels i’ve ever stayed in, from the room layout to the bathroom(s). everything felt really clean.

the room i got when i got there wasn’t what the pictures on the app displayed for a king room. brought it up w the front desk to switch to a different room, which they did but were pretty rude about it from what i was getting. obviously i wasn’t trying to be a bother but i booked my room solely off what the pictures said i’d get. also my stay was about $100+ more than what the booking price was.

Facilities were very clean. Room was comfortable and spacious. Nice desk room for working or eating. Nice options in the pantry for snacks.

The pool was too small and was situated in a strange place too close to the street. The staff were not very friendly although one staff member did assist me with an early check in. When i arrived the other staff members were not as nice or attentive.

I loved everything about our stay. Location was convenient, the facility was exceptional. We ate at the in house restaurant and the food was delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable

The receptionist that was on duty when we arrived was very sweet and accommodating. She was very professional. The receptionist on duty that night had not so nice customer service skills.

Great staff!!! We had some issues with a noisy neighbor and Bill (front desk night shift) was kind enough to move us to another room. He even brought fresh bedding for the pullout couch for our kids to our room! The ladies at the front desk during the day shift had lots of suggestions of places to take our kids in the city for fun! All of the staff we encountered were incredibly nice and friendly! Made our short stay very pleasurable! A+++

Both rooms we were in had issues with the cable tv.

I loved the lady that checked me in! she set the tone for the entire trip. her last name is Wyatt, same as my sons first name.

the beds weren’t properly presented. the pillowcase ends didn’t meet together, so the opening on the ends were sloppy. the sheets weren’t tucked in, and hung down farther than the duvet.

A very nice hotel surrounded with amazing restaurants. Bed was so comfortable and huge bathroom. I slept like a winner! Staff was so helpful and kind. Breakfast hostess was precious. KREUIG in the room. Pillows were the best.

Silly thing, no light bulb in the bedside lamp. Easy fix. Would like to see meat on the breakfast.

The staff was excellent along with the cleanliness of the hotel.

The only disappointment is that the extra charge was not provided at check-in and I was not aware of the charge until check out.

Location was great. Walkable. Close to UAB hospital, which was the purpose of the stay. The hotel was clean and spacious and fairly quiet.

The door to the bathroom was barely hanging on. We didn't want to move it too much for fear of it falling off. The bed was hard and very uncomfortable.
