good location, good staff,clean and neat

the air conditioner did work properly.

I've passed this hotel 1,000 times on the way to work at a local hospital. I never thought I would stay there, but I was pleasantly surprised. Clean, warm, welcoming lobby and front desk staff. Special mention for Giante "G" Townsend. He is the front desk team lead and I see why. Not only did he drive the shuttle to pick me up at the airport he walk in behind me and checked me in at the front desk. Simultaneously handling a minor issue with another hotel guest. The staff was professional and helpful. The shuttle drivers, front desk staff, restaurant employees and housekeeping tipped the scale for any minor room issues. For this reason I have stayed at this hotel again.

Restaurant food was good. Wish it was open a couple hours at lunch.

the bed was very comfortable!

they have bar & grill but we waited 25 min. to get help! the Spanish girl that was there with long nails and eyelashes just ignore us! she never even looked at us nor offer us the menu, the other guy was taking care of a table with probably 10 people! so he had his hands full and only when they started eating, I call him to give us the menu, the other girl was cleaning or giving guests their bill! she was nasty! the guy eventually helped us but they got to do a better job!! they should have at least one more server there! and some training too!

I love the restaurant. Good food. Reasonably price. Especially great w/ no other nearby restaurants.

I didn’t like that housekeeping came by 2x in the morning to ask when I was checking out. Check out is at noon. Some one came before 9 am. I said noon. Again someone came again to knock at 11am. If it it not past check out that practice needs to be outlawed. It highly disturbed my sleep BOTH times.

Terrica was AMAZING at the front desk!!! I'm not from the area so when I pulled up, I had feeling of nervous of neighborhood from the stories I've "heard". However, I walked to all the stores (daytime) without worries at all. It was close access to interstate etc. Security was in parking lot and building which did phenomenal job. They had Garth Brooks in town and no parking being sold out but they handled it well. Wasn't 5 start hotel, but wasn't bad especially for price. My daughter had breakfast, but didn't even come close to $20 worth of food (tip included). The room was extremely cold which we loved, but was chilly and wouldn't turn up. Beds were actually comfortable and pillows were like feather down pillows. The place could use some updating/work. The ceiling in my room was missing small piece above tub, elevator, etc but typical maintenance. The bar was opened, but not loud or anything at all. They had concert 2nd night I was there and it could be heard on the 2nd floor. The employees were very nice. I already have another 2 reservations for this same property in the upcoming months. PS...... Water pressure in shower and sink was really nice, but not really enough pressure to flush toilet paper down.

Loud music when had to get up very early. Breakfast was high for little bit we get. AC wouldn't turn up. Bed mattress leaned little bit.

Being on the 12th floor, we didn't hear road noise but the room air conditioner/ heater was very noisy. The bathroom commode was very low. This was a handicapped room, which wasn't my choice, but for someone genuinely handicapped, a "comfort height" commode or higher would be far more appropriate. The shower curtain wasn't able to keep water from spilling over onto the floor. The weekend room rate was vary high for Birmingham. Had we arrived a day later and stayed till Monday, the rate would have been very reasonable.

bed was comfortable, I slept really well. staff was nice. complimentary coffee in the morning. no smoking in any of the rooms.

in need of an update/renovation. I think since it’s a bit outdated it can look like it’s not clean and kind of worn down but I think it just needs an update. toilet wasn’t flushing very well in my room. you can hear highway noise, it wasn’t enough to bother me but if you are sensitive to that it might be a little loud.

The hotel was ok, there was a on and off toilet refill. There was a change in plans and I needed double beds instead of king and was told that I had to contact booking such an inconvenience Checking in late at night.

I had to sleep in the chair and I asked the clerk did the room have a sofa bed and I was told yes, bad business.

The hotel was very clean. Beds were comfortable.

Parking is really bad. There was not enough space. There was two large bus and construction vehicles taking up multiple space which made it hard to find a parking space and not all cars had the required parking permit in dashboard. No handicap sign but parking in handicap...

Shower/bathroom = perfect. Room size= perfect Comfort= perfect Value= exceptional Staff= very nice. In my 3 week journey; this was by far the very best place I stayed. ...Exceptional!

The only thing I didn't care for was my dinning experience. The music was waaaay too loud. I understand it's Friday and they are trying to appeal to a certain crowd...and I wasn't it. Im 60 and was a solo diner. I didn't feel like I was much of a priority. I could barely hear myself think, much less have a conversation without yelling.
