Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Birmingham East – Irondale/Airport

Everything was neat, clean, and easy to find. including ample number and kinds of towels. I could park close to my room and could see my vehicle. There were ample pillows on the bed and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was neat and clean as well.

I could hear a man talking on his telephone in front of my room at 3 A.M. This cannot be helped and is not usually the case, I am sure. The person who was supposed to use technology to give me a four o'clock wake-up call apparently was not trained to do so and I did not receive one. Nor did the little radio with alarm work beside the bed. I could have easily missed my 6 AM flight had I not slept light and had a small travel alarm (not really loud enough to wake me up, though..

the girl that checked us in was very kind and got us checked in very fast. also was very understanding. we got there close to midnight and our 5 year old had gotten car sick and ended up throwing up on her bed while she was sleeping. I cleaned it up my best but the girl at the front desk said they would take care of it ASAP

the room did have a little bit of a weird smell initially but that did change a little after the air was on for a while but it still had a strange smell. not unclean, just strange like a moldy basement or something. the bathroom also smelled weird too. almost like a smell of a bathroom at a national park.

It was a very nice and clean hotel. The staff was very welcoming and very friendly.

The friendly staff was amazing. Very clean property. Great AC. I was nervous because I had my 2 kids aged 2-3 and they are autistic and throw loud tantrums. I was scared somebody would complain or we would be kicked out but nothing happened. That was a huge relief. I will definitely stay here again!!!

I didn't like the fact that the app said they had cribs available for free upon request but when I got there and asked I was told they didn't have cribs at all.

Best room my whole month long trip from texas to NY to NH to Ct to SC and back to texas. Ive been in a lot of hotels but this one is one of the best.

Just a tad off from I-40 but the area is super clean lots of shops close by. If you cant find what your looking for here you're not looking. There is a giant amazon warehouse, im sure if you needed to you land a job and move right in.

I was able to check in earlier when my plans changed slight. And given it was very hot (summer). I liked that. I liked we had a microwave and frig so we could prepare our own food as our diet has changed. They only offered coffee but that was okay. I glad there was no charged for our pet. We were able to take him out often to meet our needs. Was able to take him out and not be afraid to walk him.

Given this was a business trip it met my expections.

I truly enjoyed my room; it was comfortable and cozy. The bed felt okay (wire mattress) and the pillows were a nice touch. I needed the rest so I was able to sleep most of the time I was there.

The TV in the room kept cutting off after a couple of hours or sometimes a couple of minutes. Besides that, the residents above me as well as next to my room kept a lot of noise up throughout the night. I was very relieved when they left.

The room was pretty clean. I'm a very picky housekeeper and I was really impressed. The bed was comfortable and our little dog stayed at no extra charge. We had enough clean towels, the hotel was well located, the staff were nice and the price was fair. I would stay here again, for sure.

Very clean & comfortable. Large room with stone top furniture. Convenience store next door. Elevator and luggage cart convenient for 3 story hotel. Good size mini fridge (no freezer).

Wish motels had listing of TV Chanels. It is usually hit and miss finding something to settle down before sleep.

Location was great. Clean rooms and hospitable staff for the most part. They accomodate my dog, which us a great thing, without charging crazy fees.

There was a lot of ttash in the parking lot. No breakfast served, and the coffee was empty three of the days I was there.
