Wingate by Wyndham Tuscaloosa

The hotel has just undergrone a major refurb and looks very bright & shinny and new. It's very clean and the rooms are lovely with a comfortable bed. They are still finishing off some things and need to sort out the no breakfast ASAP. It's about an 8minute drive from Bryant Denny Stadium parking for the football and is currently priced excellently compared to worse hotels. We paid $700 for 2 nights for a Bama home game while the Microtel just a couple of minutes closer was charging almost $1700 and having stayed at they Microtel before the Wyndham beats the hell out of the Microtel. Will definately use this again for Bama games and hope the price stays reasonable.

No breakfast due to a refurbishment.

looked very new and clean and fresh. very spacious room . nice large screen tv and it was good to have both a refrigerator and microwave oven and coffee maker . very quiet property I slept well.

the only real thing I think I’d say would be to put 2 of those very small bars of soap in the bathroom there was only one small bar for use in both shower and sink and I don’t think one more of those very small bars would cost u much but it’s kinda tacky or whatever having only the one.

We were pleasantly surprised by this stay in Tuscaloosa! We were in for Homecoming weekend, and this was a great value for this particular weekend! The entire hotel has been recently renovated and look brand new! our room was spacious and open with all new flooring ang great ALABAMA artwork to decorate! Clean, bright, and convenient- about a 10 min drive to campus! We will be booking this property again!

Nice hotel, good customer service.

The room was super clean, but the smell when you walked in the room was terrible. Once in the room you didn't smell it as bad.Im not sure if it was the cleaning products or something else. But I had to buy air freshener to make it smell better. It kinda smelled like cat pee or a cat had sprayed.

The room was extremely clean, spacious, and the linens and beds were wonderful! The lobby and pool area were clean and updated!

I value cleanliness and comfort, and the space itself was ample but certain family members were not happy with the nicked furniture, tub, in spots that probably should be soon replaced.

The beds in the room were comfortable; Close to University of Alabama and restaurants.

the hotel was being remodeled, therefore not all areas of the hotel were open for service. I didn't care for the bag breakfast, but understood why since that area was closed. I wish the water in the pool was heated even a little. Not a ton of sun hits the pool so the water was cold.

The hotel is new with large rooms, very clean and equipped with a pool. Staff was nice and parking area was well-lighted.

Decor is Bama Dominant....in the rooms! No receipt ( or charged amount) was offered at checkin or checkout. Breakfast area is not yet installed so takeaway was the only option in June 2023.

It was hard to turn the water on for the tub. Very tight and didn’t move easily. The floor was laminate not bad but walking across it did not feel like it was affixed very well. But otherwise not a bad stay. I would stay again and recommend

I liked the size of the room and how homey it was to be there.

The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. My fiance and I were able to rest, but not well. We would wake up with a lot of aches and pains.

Remodel, location, staff, bed shower, water pressure great.

No do not disturb sign for door/room; only one garbage can, not enough soap and/ towels,not all maids know English language
