Residence Inn by Marriott Anchorage Midtown

I liked the breakfast seating area but cold air conditioning blew directly on my food when preparing my plate. It would be great if you would offer more of a variety of food choices thought. I stayed for 6 nights. Too much sausage. I was looking for hard boiled eggs & omelets & missed the one time you had bacon 🥓 because I traveled to Seward that day. The coffee was good and hot! The staff was exceptionally accommodating! I was impressed! The pillows were like a dream!!

I was sad the grill was broken and the room kitchen wasn't stocked with sufficient supplies to function like it should. We bought groceries but there were no proper pans to cook stuff in. Wasn't this part of what I paid for? Also, the fireplace was broken most of the stay. The pool area wasn't decorated and uninviting. Meh.

Breakfast was really good. I like the variety.

there were 7 little kids, under the age of 10 or so, unattended in the pool. They were screaming and carrying on. we asked the front desk to speak to them as we were trying to enjoy the hot tub and pool. They did but did not help. I would enjoy my time in the pool with adult hours and no kids. Further kids should NEVER be left alone in a pool or hot tub.

we were able to walk to the grocery store to get some food. the restaurants seem to be all so full with long waits, so plan ahead people. we opted to just walk 2 blocks to the local grocer. we did laundry there. it was $3/load, but each cycle was only 30 minutes so we were done in an hour. 2 washers & 4 dryers. But only one laundry room so we were fortunate to not have to wait. Full size kitchen, we could have cooked meals if we wanted to. AND if you wanted to eat at the Moose's tooth, it is across the street ! But we didn't want to wait 2 hours.

laundry seemed expensive, but i don't usually use a laundromat. no complaints.

The Breakfast spread was great . Front desk staff was very nice.

The breakfast staff was not friendly - couple of people. One of the elevators - one closest to our room was not working. We stayed 3 nights and could not use it.

very well appointed with amenities in kitchen. comfortable beds. spacious for family of four. loved that we each had a bathroom in our room. everything was very clean.

free breakfast was terrible. jacuzzi water was a little greenish

The full kitchen was perfect and the rooms were nice and spacious and very clean! The size of the pool and spa was wonderful.

The pool hours weren’t long enough and the pool was closed for the entire last day were there for “cleaning”

Breakfast was ok. Like the location, central to everything.

Sofa was a little uncomfortable. Wish left more toiletries, keep having to request for more all time.

The location was very centrally located. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful, professional and accommodating.

I didn’t like all the cigarettes all over by the doors. maybe a trash for them would help. also doors need to be washed

Suite was spacious and suited our needs. Staff were very helpful.

We stayed only for 1 night but if staying for longer the kitchen needs to be better equipped.
