La Quinta by Wyndham Anchorage Airport

I was mainly in my room or away for most of the time. I enjoyed the breakfast and the room was nice and cool. Theres really not much to say however. It was a standard hotel with a great price. I also liked the maid service.

Nothing to say here, its not like I tried to find something I didn't like about the place. I was mainly in my room and away though, so I didn't notice anything bad about the placce. I guess I didn't like that the bathroom in the hotel rooms didn't have locks. Like I get its in your room, but I was in a room with my friend and still want privacy.

Comfortable clean room and king sized bed very relaxing great free complimentary breakfast if you aren’t on a specific diet and friendly staff. Nothing to complain about the room. Location was close to everything

Parking lot wasn’t properly plowed neither was anywhere else in the city. Parking was severely lacking in space and you might hear a plane taking off or landing faintly. People say the location didn’t make them feel safe in other reviews but don’t know that’s what everywhere in Alaska looks like before visiting and must keep in mind Alaska’s violent crime rate is 8.4 per 1,000 people, more than double the national average (US 4.0). Rape accounts for 18% of all violent crime in Alaska, which is the seventh-highest in the nation and 8 percentage points above the national average and in 2021 Alaska had the biggest increase in overdoses in the nation. Alaska is great for seeing untouched land and nature but you’re not going to feel safe anywhere

The location to the airport is good. The staff was really friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. The rooms were nice and modern. The bathroom was small but clean and seemed newer. The shuttle driver was also very friendly and helpful in getting us to the airport.

Unfortunately, the room could have been cleaner. There was dust on some fixtures and a bottle cap on the rug from a previous occupant.

Very clean room, nice amenities. Airport shuttle fast and efficient. Comfortable bed and nice extras like lotion, and nice bar of soap, plenty of towels etc. The room had a small fridge and coffee maker, plus a huge tv. Fast elevator.

Pillows were small but rock hard, very uncomfortable (both my sister and I used our jackets as a pillow instead). The door to the bathroom slides (vs close like a 'normal' door) so made privacy for actually going to the bathroom difficult. In other words, you have to be very comfortable w/ your travel companion to go #2. There was also a lot of traffic noise from outside the window, but there's nothing you can really do about that.

The breakfast was good and they had a wide variety of foods. Loved the make it yourself waffles. The room was clean and well organized. Staff was nice and shuttle service was good.

Not near places I would be able to shop for a variety of things like souvenirs. A small amount of restaurants within walking distance in the evening.

My flight was delayed 5.5 hours. I did not arrive until 3:00am only to find the rental car counters closed. The La Quinta promptly picked me up - held my reservation and, after a few hours sleep, took me back to the airport to retrieve my rental car. The staff that I dealt with (especially counter person ‘Lee’) was outstanding.

A clean, comfortable, modern room with fridge, microwave, and large television with a wide variety of channels to choose from. Bed was comfortable and hooray for six pillows! Quiet despite its location on a busy road. Friendly customer service. Would definitely stay again.

I'm sure it's just a one-off, but there were no bath towels in my room, just hand towels. I appreciate their offering a grab and go breakfast in place of the breakfast buffet due to Covid concerns, but the contents were a diabetic's nightmare- more sugar than you should even think of consuming in one day.

it was close to all the places I needed to go to. The excellent lighting outside was another plus.

my first night there wasn’t any hot water so I was certain there would be by the next morning but am sad to report that it only got like warm. the second morning however the water was hot enough to shower. my only complaint.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Hotel did not have the "worn out" feeling. I liked the large tv. Nice to have a microwave along with large fridge and coffee maker.

Room was a little small. Fine for one person or two for a short stay. Breakfast wasn't bad, but a bit limited. It's in a sketchy neighborhood, but so is every hotel near the airport!

The property has been nicely renovated both in the public spaces and in the rooms. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. On-site parking was free and easy.

While the room was clean overall, there was a sizable wet, sticky spot on the carpet, which was distasteful to discover in bare feet. The grab and go breakfast of instant oatmeal was not the most practical/convenient, although it was nice to have hard-boiled eggs for protein and oatmeal is healthier than other options.
