Hyatt Place Anchorage-Midtown

the room was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is included. The hotel shuttle picked us up from the airport and took us to the train station. the pickups are well organised.

Staff was friendly, room was clean, bed was comfortable and breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast is quick, easy and generally is good. Location is close to the office I am visiting. Room is clean and I routinely get a good night sleep. THe TV selection is great. I have also enjoyed using the pool and jacuzzi. I wish the food offerings in the evenings had a few different meal configuration including Steak, Chicken Or Fish with a starch (Baked Potato) or mashed potato and maybe a vegetable like broccoli…The staff have always been very nice courteous and supportive!

It was very clean! The rooms/beds were comfortable. staff was friendly and it was a good Location to lots of shopping!

The only thing that was negative (and this is the smallest thing), was they didn't have any pool towels the second night we were there. But there were a TON of people at the pool, so I'm guessing they just couldn't keep up. We were there for an hour that night and never got a towel.

I liked the gym, and my room had a great view of the mountains.

The pool gets very busy and crowded. I swam in the morning I could see hair and debris all over the surface so bailed on swimming, the teenagers school groups came in and left a mess in the halls and the gym.

Good place, it’s not far from airport and it’s provide shuttle bus service. We don’t drive the car so it’s a good choice for us. And there are some restaurants near the hotel that can walk in 10mins to arrive .

I just stay 2 nights, and most time we go outside and travel. The AC is warm, the room is clean. So it is okay for us to stay.

Breakfast was Phenomenal and great choices.

I didn’t pay much attention to view but when I did look out, kind of disheartening to see a parking lot with trash thrown all over. It was the next lot to Hyatt.

pool and spa had too much chlorine. if you are sensitive you will get a rash.

The hotel staff was exemplary. The receptionist and gentlemen (appeared to be management) were willing to accommodate us however necessary. He walked us to our room, she helped store our luggage for several hours so we could go explore Anchorage before our late flight. She even asked the shuttle to pick us up outside the typical window which was super hospitable. The bartender was friendly and helpful and full of knowledge and ways to explore the immediate and surrounding areas. There was a complimentary breakfast available but we were dead set on visiting Snow City Cafe. The location of the hotel wasn't downtown but it was Midtown which brings you within proximity to other great restaurants, breweries and shops. My husband enjoyed the pool and hot tub amenities and having a spacious room with couch and new updated bathroom was fantastic. This room was very clean as well. Just an awesome hotel overall! Would recommend over and over!
