Red Lion Inn & Suites Goodyear

Our king suite was big. It had a separate living room/kitchenette (with a door between). The spa tub was very big. It had a shower above it. The bed was pretty comfortable. The pillows were ok. Everything was clean. The location was great. Close to lots of shopping & restaurants.

The shower head was broken. It sprayed water every direction and would change which direction randomly. It definitely needs replaced. The shower/spa tub combo would be hard to get in & out of if your mobility is limited, so keep that in mind when booking rooms with spa tubs.

A hot breakfast with a nice variety was included even though it was not advertised to be included on the app. There was a large room with seating for breakfast. The room and beds were clean, comfortable and quiet. The air conditioner was also quiet. We enjoyed food at a nice little Mexican restaurant nextdoor.

Even though the bathtub was very clean, at first glance the bottom appeared dirty. The bottom had a black coating of some kind on it, perhaps to prevent slipping. The appearance was like someone scrubbed a filthy tub and forgot to rinse the greasy grime away.

Let's just start by saying that the staff is amazing. So friendly and so accommodating. From the Front Desk to the Housekeeping, everyone was fantastic. Price was great! Room was better! King Suite with Spa Bath btw. (we even stayed an extra day. We didn't want to go home!!) We are a family of four who travels with our cat if we can and from the very beginning, we felt taken care of and welcomed. After a brief check in, we headed to our room. This room was GREAT! A comfy little retreat from home. The bed was comfortable, the TV channel choices were good enough for us and the SPA BATH.... SO GOOD! Nothing less than epic relaxation was had in there. That being said, we'll definitely be back! We love visiting Zoos and now we have our location of choice for anytime we're heading to the Wildlife World Zoo out in Litchfield Park. Stay here, you won't regret it.

Nothing at all. Our stay was great and we couldn't have asked for more.

The breakfast was a convenience that we need when we travel as my husband has medical problems. The food selection was ok, but I have stayed at hotels where the selection was better. Also, the oatmeal was absolutely not properly prepared. It was thin enough to put in a cup and drink and since that was the only item I could eat at breakfast, ( I am allergic to any foods with preservatives or additives) I bought some instant oatmeal packages at the store to add to it. I did mention it to the person in charge of the dining room but she said it is that way so it doesn't get thick. That didn't make sense to me. I also mentioned it to the front desk attendant but in the 4 nights we stayed, it did not change. Personnel did not seem too friendly or helpful.

We did not like paying premium prices for a room and not having services. Also, the exercise room had only 2 pieces of equipment and the one had a broken foot strap (bicycle). That made it unsafe to use.

The room was much bigger than other hotels we have stayed at. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The pool was very refreshing after a long days drive.

The front desk clerk was very rude. She could not locate our booking.com reservation and told me my email proof meant nothing to her. She welcomed me to leave and find another hotel. I informed her we had paid in advance and that she could take all the time she needed to locate our reservation. After about 5 minutes of looking she found our reservation with my last name listed as first, and first name listed as last. She was unbelievably rude and berating to myself and my husband in front of other customers in line.

The front desk and other staff were very nice, polite and helpful. The room was big and very clean which included AC, a microwave and small refrigerator. The king size bed was very comfy. The room had a large flat screen tv compared to other hotels. The breakfast was yummy! We didn’t have a chance to use the fitness room, pool or laundry room but they were all clean and well maintained. Parking lot was good and well lit. Lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance. We felt safe walking around and didn’t see any riffraff hanging around the area. Overall this hotel is A+

Everything was clean and the staff was very nice. The breakfast was outstanding. It had everything you needed, including little details to make your breakfast perfect. The location of the property was perfect for what we were there for, Spring Training. We had a very nice stay!

in the rooms, a couch was broken on the armrest. It was an eyesore. there needs to be an upgrade. there were popcorn ceilings and old window treatments.

The Red Lion Inn was clean, and full of surprises. There were bikes to use, bookshelves full of novels, excellent breakfast options and quiet rooms. we had a room with the spa tub and enjoyed a nice hot bath together.

The couch in the room was worn and sunken in. The room needed a bit of touch up paint but other than that, it was really decent.

staff is very friendly and helpful! good location! nicer than I thought it would be.

safety concern with my room door. when you leave and shut the door it didn’t close well. you had to really pull it hard to shut it. I didn’t realize that and the staff didn’t know about it. wasn’t until I came back to my room and my door was open about 2-3 inches I found out (kinda scared me). but it turned out ok.

The breakfast was pretty good. Lots of variety. The bed was super comfy. We had a king suite that had a huge jetted tub.

The pool was only open from 10am to 7pm due to "renovations". Despite being in the room during those hours, with a view of the pool, on weekdays, we never saw any work being done.
