Hampton Inn Phoenix - Biltmore

The staff were very lovely and accommodating from the get-go! I arrived at the hotel with only 1% left on my phone battery. I hen I asked if they had a charging station, they got a repairman to connect the PowerPoints in the lobby just so I could charge my phone. I was also supposed to check-in at 3pm, but instead they allowed me to check-in at 11am which was very convenient and something I was grateful for. The room itself was bigger than I expected, which is great because I love big spaces! The air conditioner worked wonders and the water pressure from the shower was amazing. I loved my bed and I was pleasantly surprised with how the main light was actually borders of the main mirror rather than a ceiling light. The location itself was nearby other shopping precincts, and so I got to experience many firsts as it is my first time here in USA. Overall, a pleasant experience was had at this hotel. I would highly recommend!

The size of the room and ease of check in. The room was large and had plenty of drawers and counter space. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were definitely the best ones I’ve slept on in a hotel in years. Our room was almost completely sound proof. We only heard voices from another room once. 99% of the staff were wonderful and helpful.

No instructions on how to access the pool or where the towels were located. The young lady at the front desk seemed annoyed when we called for extra trash bags, there was only one in the bin. Asked her where do we get towels for the pool, guess she seemed annoyed we asked.

The bed is super comfortable, I always sleep so well here. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

My second night stay I was in a room that faced Highland Ave., a very busy street no matter what time of day or night, so it was a little noisy. Also, the cooler/heater was one of the old ones by the window and they set it down to 67*. I was freezing so I turned it up and as soon as I did that, it started to smell like it was burning and then the smoke detector went off! I only turned it up to 74*! I thought the whole place was going to burn down. This was room 139, if anyone's interested. I turned it back to cool and left it on 74 in hopes I wouldn't get too cold. The rest of the night was uneventful, thank goodness lol

No breakfast, due to flood and repair/maintenance. Was not told prior to stay.

I wish the hotel would’ve let us know that there had been a flood and the pool was out of service, free breakfast was not available, and lots of “closed off spaces”, etc.. or had given us a discount on our stay. I’ve stayed several times in the past few months, and although the staff was (and is) always amazing.. I would also liked to be considered a valued customer, and allowed some sort of “perk” or discount, due to the inconvenience.

Clean and comfortable.

Disappointed that there was no fruit on offer on 2 days out of my 3 for breakfast. Now that COVID is not as life threatening it would have been nice to have proper tableware and cutlery rather than disposable items. The map provided for the local area was of very poor quality and very hard to read, the local facilities were nearly 15 mins walk rather than the 5 minutes suggested by your receptionist. The swimming pool was smaller than I had hoped for and could have done with some more sun shades.

The temporary breakfast room was spacious, but the food was not very good quality. The fruits were old and so were the hard boiled eggs. I had to spit both out when I bit into them both.

Currently you're under construction and I did not realize that, so feedback is that I miss the really good breakfast room you normally have and the hot breakfast that was served before, was excellent....this is what made me return.

The breakfast was yummy! Omelets were flavorful, sausage was delicious, waffles were wonderful! Staff was amazing and friendly:) I enjoyed my stay tremendously. Also I appreciated how clean my room was as well as the grounds of the hotel in general. Very nice!!!

I was surprised at the incidental fee of $125, so would like to see that fee more easily identified in order to be better prepared for the stay. Other than that I very much enjoyed my stay:)

Large, clean, comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Loved the pool in this hot hot weather. Also a very friendly staff member greeting us and cracking jokes.

Honestly, I can't think of a single thing. Ok, maybe that I was the one who used the last of the waffle batter this morning ;-) But there was also a very attentive lady refilling breakfast items so I'll assume she replenished the waffle batter after I used it all up.

We loved everything about our stay at the Hampton Inn. The room was more than I expected. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was very good and I was surprised at the great variety and waffles available. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for our itinerary.

The room was nice and comfortable. We selected this hotel because it was convenient to the airport, the rental car pick up and the planned direction for the next day's trip.

We could not figure out how to operate the curtains. The maintenance man came and showed us the switch on the wall. He was quick and very nice. He also showed us how to find the TV guide channel. These things were not explained or marked well. It would have been convenient to have a side door to the parking area.
