Fairfield Inn & Suites Phoenix Midtown

Breakfast was particularly good. Fruit was fresh, eggs were okay and bacon was good, lots of choices. Variety of condiments was available. Coffee was good. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room was comfortable and well equipped.

Housekeeping knocked on our door and woke us up while we were sleeping at 09:10 am despite the "do not disturb" sign on the door. Need to train housekeeping better. To be fair, the "do not disturb" signs provided are small and blend in with the door. Need to get better signs.

The hotel is very well accessible even without a car thanks to the metro line running right in front of it. It is situated near the Heard Museum, which is pretty impressive. Staff is very nice and attentive. Breakfast has a lot of choices and there is a pool. Ice machine on the floor.

Being German I'm not used to AC. But after adjusting it, it didn't disrupt my sleep anymore.

Room smelled like someone had gone #2 right beforw we got into it. Had to keep the bathroom door closed all the time. Not sure if the smell went away or we just got used to it… Staff kept calling to check how our stay was; that was a but overboard, but maybe it was because they knew of the smell in the room. Who knows. Worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Everything was reheated/packaged stuff that was more like rubber than food. They’d be better off giving a voucher to the IHOP across the street.

The breakfast was quite good for the free buffet style, even serving Canadian bacon. The bed was comfortable, with really comfy pillows (very important - always bring my own!) Responded to my reservation room request. Location was good with several restaurants adjacent.

The TV gave us trouble at first, shutting off automatically after about 20 minutes. We called about it & at first the response wasn't adequate. Then someone else called to follow up & the response was immediate. But the TV cable provider has the lamest menu ever, to tell what's on!

The staff was friendly and helpful and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good and fresh.

Unfortunately, one of the lights outside was very bright at night and the curtains didn't block out all the light. The price was very expensive for the kind of room we had. For the same stay, it was at least 900$ CAD more than last year.

Decent breakfast. Courteous staff. It was your typical urban hotel.

The breakfast staff closed down early everyday. I was placed next to the stairwell which was rather noisy.

I chose this hotel because the location was perfect for the event I was there for. The breakfast was delicious, I just wish there would have been a little more variety for breads (there were only bagels available.)

Unfortunately, the coffee was not good at all. There wasn't any milk available for the coffee, so I had to take a little carton of milk from the fridge and I felt bad wasting the leftover milk. That was the only thing I really didn't like. The coffee in the room wasn't any better either.

Great location, and beds were very comfortable.

Well didn't want to say, but check in staff were great, welcoming, friendly quick pleasant. But I was a little disappointed in the staff member the following morning, lady in charge of morning buffet. She went on and on complaining to a coworker about how to much was expected from here at work! I observed what I felt rudeness to other patrons and seem a little disconnected with what she seemed to be there for. I could give more examples of her interactions which I felt were bad behavior for her position.

Breakfast was ok but could been better. Rooms are comfortable and great and size of the room for the 4 of us are just enough. And we are close to where we need to go.

It could have been a perfect stay except for the fire alarm 2-3x with our last night stay. We need to evacuate in the middle of the night. Interrupted our last night and we drove from Chicago to phoenix and we really needing that sleep before driving home. Other than that could have been a perfect stay

The lady manning the breakfast was wonderful. Appreciated her getting fruit salad for me.

Room seemed dim. There was a cockroach on the wall in our room.
