Breakfast was good always enough for all of the guests and staff was always very helpful

They need an up to date key card system for the doors had to have card reprogrammed two to three times. The manager at this location also manages the best western next door and the best western has an upgraded key card system so I think that they should get another manager or the one they do have needs to run both places up to the same standard or just stay at the best western if they want to play favorites. Cuz you’re in customer service and taking care of certain customers better than others is not professional whatsoever you should put the same effort into both locations.

After reading the reviews we are pleasantly surprised how good this place was. Beds were comfortable and plenty of room to move around. Carpet was a little sticky but it is an old hotel so we weren’t surprised. Also breakfast was included and it was nice. Some people commented on bath tub being black but I think it came from old plastic tub and it was clean. water pressure was great. one thing I found was that there was a coffee maker but no jug. Would have been nice to be able to have a cup of tea. It is right next to busy freeway so you can definitely hear the noise I am a light sleeper but I had earplugs and I slept fine but this may annoy some people.

Location to Legoland. Full breakfast, close to parking lot. Comfy pillows, the heated pool and relaxing spa AND the microwave is a BONUS! Not many hotels have microwaves, it seems. We stayed at the Legoland Castle before, and those rooms don't have microwaves in it and for those prices. We will be back at La Quinta Inn; this location again with my family.

I had to use the laundry. The washer left my clothes soaked, and I had to ring out clothes before before putting them into the dryer. It dried after 2 cycles.

This hotel is a real gem for families traveling with young children! We stayed here before our Legoland trip and it was HUGE savings in comparison with the Legoland hotels! It's just a few minutes from Legoland, neat and clean, staff very friendly. Our Kings family suite had 2 good size rooms with a kings size bed in one room and a large bunk bed next to an adorable aquatic wall painting in the other room, and even 2 full bathrooms with a shower and bath. It also included a mini fridge and a small microwave. There was a door between the 2 rooms that you could close upon need. The rooms are large enough to place a couple inflatable mattresses or a travel crib, if needed, for larger families! Ideal for staying with several young children, which is hard to find in reasonably priced hotels. The hotel pool is a tad small but big enough for a bunch of kids to have fun. They had a huge stash of clean, fluffy towels next to the jacuzzi as well, and both the pool and the jacuzzi had chair lifts for accessibility.

It's pretty loud for sleeping since it's close to a freeway that never seems to quiet down. Would be no problem for people who are used to traffic outside their windows, probably, we're just used to not hearing any traffic during night.

Room was very clean and in good repair. Front door was heavy and thick and kept out the freeway noise very well. On site breakfast was handy; cereal, oatmeal, bagels, waffles, muffins, eggs/sausage, fruit, yogurt Good centralized location

Real scrambled eggs (the consistency was powdered egg mix) for breakfast, or at least boiled eggs would have been good. Otherwise breakfast options were good

Loved the two room set up with the bunk bed. It worked well with having a grown child and the two full bathrooms. Appreciated them allowing our dogs to stay with us and the free parking. It's close to the beach and lots of dining options. There is a grocery store, Rite-Aid, Costco, and outlet mall all within a few miles.

It would have been nice to have another chair or two to sit in besides having to sit on the bed.

we’ve stayed at this property several times because of location & service. we love the convenience how everything from the beaches close , outlet mall , stores etc. The only down side this trip was our refrigerator was broken so it was an inconvenience but the staff reimbursed us for that & offered us they’re freezer for our food & drinks.

This hotel is awesome. The pool was nice. We booked the king family suite and it was just perfect for our family of 5. My 8 year old slept on the top bunk, my adult sized 14 year old slept on the bottom bunk. Both said the bed was super comfortable. We got a roll away bed for my 16 year old. He was the only one that said his bed wasn’t the best. The room did smell a little musty when we first got there, but your like 2 blocks away from the ocean so yeah it’s going to be musty and damp. We got a bottle of fabreeze and between that and all the boy farts you couldn’t tell anymore. Breakfast was amazing. Great options and a money saver for sure. We also chose this hotel because we were traveling with our dog. There is a shopping center a block away that has everything you need and the Benihana down the street was delicious. The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful.

Honestly the only thing that is even sort of a negative is the hotel is in desperate need of updating, but if you know that going in, it’s fine. We aren’t super high class hotel people so it didn’t bother us at all. If you want a dog friendly hotel, with a pool and a hot tub, and is located near some amazing beaches (Oceanside is our favorite) you can’t go wrong with this hotel.

The staff were so nice and very welcoming. I didn’t eat breakfast but they have a hot one available. I’m vegan so I didn’t bother to dine as I wasn’t sure they had vegan options but I’ve been told the breakfast is good waffles, meat etc.

The location was good however it was noisy from the highway traffic. If it wasn’t for my AC unit being on to drown out some of the noise I would have been bothered. There was small spots of mildew on the bathroom wall that cleaning service needs to pay closer attention to its not good for breathing and just making sure to vacuum well I found a nut shell on the floor around the bed.

Breakfast was better than expected, I expected the most continental of continental but they had sausage, eggs and a fresh waffle maker. Everyone was helpful. The only thing I could suggest as an improvement is a bit of scrubbing to the jacuzzi walls under water for algae but honestly we had a great time. I would definitely stay again.
