Great facilities run by two charming lady co-innkeepers. The room I had was large and comfortable. Breakfast was creative with juice and berries accompanied by different main dishes each day, including bagels purchased specifically each morning on which it was served. The daily interaction with the innkeepers was engaging and welcoming. Great choice if you want a more personal experience rather than a hotel environment.

I can't think of anything that beats thiis perfectly run facility.

Wonderful hosts who went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was exceptional, the spotless room had many little touches that we really appreciated. We felt like we were guests in their very nice home.

We really have nothing negative to say, it was a wonderful stay. If we have to list something we didn't like, it would be that there is no a/c, and some days now can be warmer than normal. However, many homes in the San Diego area don't have air conditioning. We were out during the day and it does cool off after sundown so this wasn't a big issue.

The Kate Stanton Inn in all honestly left me speechless. Liz and Carol as hosts make your stay in thier home thier primary focus. Nothing is too much trouble, and thier attention to detail puts many superior class hotels to shame. The rooms are tastefully appointed , the bed comfortable with fresh ,white, crisply laundered sheets. This truly is a home away from home! The breakfast was outstanding, nicely presented using local produce and assembled virtually as you walked through the door! The breakfast experience itself was enjoyable, and also gave the opportunity to interact with other guests. The Kate Stanton Inn is well located in a quiet rather exclusive neighborhood , a very short drive to local amenities and of course the beaches. We enjoyed relaxing on the back patio in the evenings with a nice glass of wine surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. If we are fortunate in the future to return to California we already know where we will be staying - thank you Liz and Carol

The home was beautiful and so well appointed. Everything was in place to make you feel at ease and comfortable. The bed and linens were wonderful! Wish I had stayed longer!

I loved everything! Truly, it was so welcoming and cheerful! There are views of the beautiful garden, ocean and mountains. Quite exceptional! 😍

The breakfast was amazing. From Home cooked to brought in from high quality eateries. Everything was hearty and flavorful. Lots of fresh fruit and options for e every palate. They went above and beyond any dietary request.

Honestly the perfect stay.

Liz and Carol are wonderful hostesses, wonderful human beings! We felt from the first moment that we were staying with old friends. We plan to stay with them again as it was nothing but an 'over-the-top' stay.

I can't think of a thing that I would change.

This was close to several places we wanted to explore. It was close to several beaches (grand view, Carlsbad, swami) and restaurants. it was very clean and comfortable. beautiful property

We couldn't really walk to nearby cafes and restaurants. we prefer to walk and explore next time.

The hosts Liz and Carol were delightful company, The breakfast was A++ and their home was absolutely lovely, spacious and nicely decorated with a beautiful view from the top of the cliff.

Great breakfast that was waiting for us as we woke up. Liz and Carol were always there to make our stay so enjoyable. The room had a patio where we could sit with coffee and wine at night. Great location close to beach and restaurants.

The care, the cleanliness and the comfortable atmosphere . The bed was out of this world!!! I had never stayed at a BnB before. Will DEFINITELY be back My whole experience was wonderful !!

That i had to leave. The ocean view could have been better .
