The Westin South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa

Outstanding property. Outstanding Bell and valet staff. Every bit the Westin high quality bedding experience. However, front desk is consistently average at best and most frequently terrible. I have stayed here 6 or 7 times the past 2 years. I come back for the quality of the bed and sleep experience. Absolutly first rate sleeping experience and valet is as good as it gets. However, front desk is consistently terrible. 10-12 minute check-in with no one else checking in. Being completely ignored at check-In. Obvious training front desk people without supervisors around. Great 4-star experience aside from consistently bad front desk.

The Westin in OC is our fave getaway from beautiful San Diego. It's easy to get to, there's so much to do in the area, and there's a lot of great places to eat nearby! The hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable.

We're here 2-3 times a year, and the windows have been dirty the past couple of years. When are you going to get them cleaned?

I loved the room that I stayed in. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and I loved the shower. Location is also a strong point for this hotel, in which you have so many places to walk to, like South Coast Plaza.

I understand that this is a 4 star hotel, but I feel as if the prices fluctuate way too much, so much so that you’re not presented with many opportunities to return to the hotel.

Third time staying at the Westin South Coast Plaza and the windows were still dirty! We even say a couple of huge cockroaches at the pool area!

Great location for shopping and dining without having to drive anywhere which is what we intended. Valet parked our car when we arrived and brought it back to us when we checked out to return home.

My husband and I sat at the bar for a couple of drinks. There was no official bartender. The waiters were inconsistent in the amount of alcohol poured into the mixed drinks, below the standard portion one would expect. We didn’t complain considering businesses’ post/Covid efforts toward returning to “normal”. And the wait staff was wonderful.

We paid for two queen beds and they gave us king with pull out had no beds My son is 6’8 so it wasn’t good for him Staff was nice about not having two beds but it wasn’t good for our situation

I usually stay at the Marriott on Anton but I decided to try Westin South Coast Plaza for the first time. Great location, nice room and view, a lot of great places to eat within walking distance. Also has a mini fridge in the room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

My only suggestion; get the windows cleaned.

The customer service was absolutely incredible. Absolutely everyone we talked to from the valet to customer service was incredible. The bed was comfortable and the and the room was very spacious.

The mini fridge still had someone else’s food in it so I had to ask them to clean it and it made me wonder if the whole room was actually clean. But seriously everything else was great!

I appreciate that the hotel still has bathtubs, a diminishing luxury in most hotels. Every aspect was terrific!

I have complaints or recommendations.
