The Encinitan Hotel & Suites

The room was nice and big. The mattress was comfortable and our room was very clean. The breakfast room was very clean as well. The staff were all very friendly and nice.

It was cold and there was no comforter, just a sheet with a thin blanket. My husband doesn't like to sleep with the heat on, so I was COLD. I asked for a comforter and was given another blanket for our second night, but it wasn't enough. There were a few things in the room that needed attention: the switch on the sink light was missing the cover and the screen door's plastic strip was peeled off and hanging. Other than that, the room was very clean.

The housekeeper was profession. The room was immaculately cleaned EACH day--unexpected bed care along with fresh towels and soaps etc.

Your entry was UNLIT at night on busy Encinitas Blvd and impossible to find even in the daytime on our first attempt to locate the driveway. The McDonald's staff nearby had no clue to help us. Train staff to clean the white signage (poor corporate choice of new colors) and to turn it on and add more wattage. Thank you

It’s not perfect but it was a comfortable, peaceful and an easy stay. The room was spacious, well set up and clean except the floors are a little sticky. I wouldn’t bother with their breakfast the neighborhood is filled with better options. The location is excellent! Parking was very easy although $10 a night I was only there 2 nights so no biggie. Would stay here again and found the staff helpful and accommodating. I arrived an hour early for my check in and she let me check in early because it was available. Very easy check in and check out. The only thing I found true from the few bad reviews was the dirty floor issue. Otherwise it’s a pretty good stay and a good value.

The pool and jacuzzi area could be nicer, the floors could be clean and not so sticky. Breakfast could be better quality.

Nice big King Suite. Bedroom is closed off from the spacious living area. There is a stove but no oven. Deck off the bedroom is great! I thought it was a bit expensive for what it was, but it was the beginning of spring break and I think the summer season. It's close to a ton of nice restaurants, but if you want to walk be prepared for a big hill and a very slippery dirt path if you don't want to walk down the main driveway. Our smoke alarm (or maybe the carbon monoxide sensor) had a low battery beep when we got in, and they said maintenance wasn't in yet, but we were never contacted after that to get the issue fixed. We just unplugged the smoke alarm and took the battery out of the carbon monoxide sensor. Not good for a full 3 days.

The set up of the room was perfect like a small apartment

The room came with a kitchen but hardly any supplies. We had to ask for just about everything. (Pan, more forks, glasses)

My room was amazing super conveniently located, staff were great! Housekeeping on point!

I had a King suite and the TV in the living room did not work I had maintenance look at it and it worked for that moment then reverted back to what it was doing originally. I had thought that the property was closer to the beach but it’s a long walk and you have to go down a steep hill to get to the street where you can walk those 5 blocks. I’m not in the best shape and there isn’t any parking at the beach so it was kind of a bummer. I was able to use the hot tub but it didn’t feel hot enough (that may be for safety- I don’t know)

The rooms are freaking amazing

The staff rips you off, whether they mean to or not the finances at that place a horrific.

The location was great. Close to shops, restaurants, and nightlife if you choose. The room was large with a balcony. Plenty of space. Didn't have time to make it to the pool, but it looked nice!

The structure is older. The HVAC unit in the room is a bit loud. Parking and room access are mostly through the parking garage. The garage has low clearance.

Room was very big and clean. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed. Parking was tucked away from busy street and close to my room which I loved. Loved that I couldn’t hear through the walls like other hotels. Liked that the bed was in a separate part of room with doors of its own made me feel safe. Liked the balcony very much was large. Loved this hotel overall.

Extremely short shower curtains. Water getting all over floor.

Really loves the location and the outdoor structure

Balcony was dirty and the door was falling off, parking structure didn’t seem safe, also our room door was hard to open. Also they gave is the wrong room at first, but fixed the problem fast. BUT once we were in our room another couple came IN!!! They gave someone a key to OUR room, which was super awkward.
