Courtyard by Marriott San Mateo Foster City

I loved the staff! They were so accommodating and very nice. I really enjoyed speaking with each of the staff. The location was amazingly beautiful and across from Starbucks and Jamba Juice which is all you need. The room was comfortable and clean. I was very happy for the temporary free parking as well. Oh and the hotel is like 1 min away from Costco. It’s in the best location. I would stay again if I’m in the area.

I didn’t like that the jacuzzi was closed and the time and space were limited for the gym and pool. But with the times we are in with Covid that’s deff just a new normal, not the hotel’s fault. Also the construction on the roof was a bit unpleasant but luckily it didn’t last too long during the day. Also the bistro was closed and only open for limited breakfast.

Property was clean and very quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy and quick check in. If we needed anything, the staff got it to us in minutes. Ample parking. Great location for driving & walking. Close to the freeway, food, grocery, a large park with a lagoon, etc. Beds were comfortable too. We traveled as a family of four & spent four nights. We had a first floor suite. On our trip we went to Redwood City, Belmont, Foster City, Burlingame, Pacifica, Halfmoon Bay & San Francisco (by pier 39)

Nothing. Our stay couldn’t be more perfect.

The room and bathroom were large for a hotel, the bed was extremely comfortable, and I enjoyed all the Paul Mitchell toiletries. The indoor pool was great, and I loved the courtyard area with the firepit. Everyone was really friendly, and the hotel was nice and quiet. I did not hear my neighbors or anybody above us, at all! The location was great. It was only about 15 minutes from SFO airport, and 30 minutes from the San Francisco Zoo. I don't like staying in San Francisco, so this drive was okay for me. This hotel feels high-end without breaking the bank. I would definitely stay here again.

Honestly, nothing! We really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was as advertised. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful, answered all my questions. Bed was super comfortable and pillows were too. Nice sofa to sit and put your feet up. Very functional desk and table on wheels. Liked the HBO and Showtime also. Bathroom products were high end. Nice lake close by was perfect for short walks. The entire experience was great and I plan to stay again.. Thank you!

small refrigerator, however it is a built in cabinet and that is all that will fit .. nbd, Safeway right around the corner.

The location was perfect. Clean area, felt safe. Several places to eat nearby. Less than 10 miles to beautiful beaches. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Already planning another get away at this location, would recommend.

I like a thick mattress, these were not that. But they were comfortable enough to rest well. Also I would recommend a rule of no children in the pool after 9pm . The pool closes at 10, but it seems to get louder and very crowded after 9pm with mostly children. Hard to relax in the spa or pool with kids running around.

Very comfortable room

There were rowdy groups of people in the hallways and the central courtyard who made noise well past midnight on Saturday night. Apparently teams of young teens were staying at the hotel and both the kids and chaperones were very disrespectful. Also the refrigerator has a ton of wasted space.

we really like the property and it was in a great location easy to get to different places .

The only thing we didn’t like about the property is that and we were not informed as sheets were never changed in the three days that we stayed there.

Great location, easy access, and the room was exactly what I needed. Staff was helpful and made check in and out simple and straightforward. Bonus is there's a Starbucks just across the street.

I can't think of anything negative to say, everything was wonderful.

Beds were nice and comfy. Staff was really nice. I liked having a 1st floor room with kids.

Only complaint was we didn't get access to the pool. Checkin is at 3pm and the pool closes at 4pm. You also have to reserve a time slot. Which I understand due.to Covid. Check out at 11am leaves no options for pool use. I promised the kids we were going to swim. They were super bummed.

The location was great. We enjoyed the Starbucks next door and a block walk to the lake. It was very close to the highway and in a nice area of Foster city. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean. We would stay here again.

The only suggestions we have is that it would be nice to have a microwave in the room and more light in the bathroom vanity area. We had to sit near the window to apply our make up.
