Residence Inn by Marriott San Francisco Airport San Mateo

We have stayed often in this hotel in the past. Due to corona our last stay was in 2018. The suites and bathrooms were redecorated / updated since then. They did a nice job, especially the great walkin shower. Overall this is a really nice hotel for a longer stay.

We had to pay extra - 10 dollars + tax per night - for the parking spot. This was new, although it is mentioned on booking.com. They charged us 12 dollar extra additional to the parking price, the manager could not give an explanation. Also: Breakfast without bacon and bread - we had to take our own bread to make toast.

We never stayed at a Residence Inn, so for the price we paid, it was amazing stay. It was close to lots of stores and restaurants. My partner and I have no complaints and would love to come stay again. If only, we stayed an extra day or two more. Thank you for the. experience.

The only concern which it didn't really bother us was the heavy foot traffic above us. We were on the 1st floor.

The location is very close to the airport. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The restaurants are very good as well, we were happy with the in room dinning and the breakfast buffets. Overall, a great experience.

Our room size could have been bigger, otherwise not a lot to complain about.

loved everything staff was super nice and breakfast was different every morning asked the staff for to go bags they were really nice about it. my kids enjoy the pool so much and you they can be loud in having fun around the pool no one complain and no one was around we had the pool to our self for the whole time we was in the pool. thanks so much our family enjoyed our stay

The reception was very gracious and accommodating, helping us with car parking as we arrived in two cars. The property is right on the CA 92 freeway so a downstairs unit was quieter. Breakfast was just OK as the COVID precautions limited the presentation. You could stay here awhile and housekeep but it's a little spartan.

It's style like a chalet and you don't feel like staying in hotel. It's in quite neighborhood and near San Francisco airport

Sometimes some of the washing machine broken and it inconvenience me as usually I always do a long stay and need to wash my clothes

The rooms are the best! Kitchen space is the best feature for me. The rooms are nice sized and the rooms are soundproof! Great addition.

I really wish they would update their kitchen cookware! There needs to be nonstick cooking items. Also, the ice machine is a joke. If you think you need ice buy some. Honestly, 2 cubes per hour.

It was a good nice room and very spacious

What i didn’t like was the price difference from where i booked to what was charged it was about a 7$ difference and I don’t know why.

It's great to have a kitchen, especially now when eating out is more difficult.

This is specific to me: most of the time Marriot beds are too firm for me. I have difficulty sleeping on them. For someone without my physical limitations this place is a "ten".
