Holiday Inn Long Beach - Airport, an IHG Hotel

Location ideal close to Long Beach airport and next to Interstate I-405, easy access to drive anywhere around the LA basin. Room was clean and modern with good window noise screening of the above Interstate. The lobby staff here were very good.

The windows were filthy and dirty, the hotel needs to find a local window cleaner!

Upon entering our room, it smelled heavily of stale cigarette smoke, after a couple of hours in the room, I couldn't handle the stench, so I headed down to the front desk, and the staff immediately placed us in another room, I appreciated the quickness over my concerns, I honestly didn't think that they would do that, I was simply letting the front desk know the room had a terrible smoke odor

The room didn't supply hair conditioner The blinds didn't compensate for enough darkness in the room, heard sirens throughout the night etc

Good location. Easy on and off from the freeways. Excellent distance from Long Beach Airport.

The property needs refreshing. The room door was sticky to open. Ice machines should be located on all floors instead of every other floor.

No breakfast but all staff were all very kind and helpful bar none! Availability of Coffee, cream, sugar was very much appreciated! Use of neighboring Hot Tub use was very helpful for a hurt foot and ankle!

Wish the swimming pool and use of Hot Tub was unavailable after 10 pm need to extend access to 12 midnight due all external activities available in and around Long Beach!

The hotel staff was wonderful.

Apparently our hotel got switched, as the one we booked was shut down.... Which we didn't realize till arrival, and we're stuck miles from anything, including the three day convention we were attending.... We did not have a rental car and ended up paying for transportation multiple times a day. We picked the original hotel knowing it was in walking distance to our event. There was no breakfast, even though it was still listed, and there was NO food for us in walking distance, except gas stations

The beds were comfortable and I liked that there was a coffee maker fridge in the room.

The light in the shower part of the bathroom either came on or it didn't. It was a slightly older hotel and things were a litte worn. Also there was a broken press-on nail clearly visible in the window of my room when I checked in.

Daisy at the front desk completely turned my morning around. Staff was amazing and the room was perfect. large beautiful bathrooms were newly updated. The free wifi was fast. The rooms and facilities were very clean and the water refill stations were so welcome!

When I arrived at the hotel they didn’t have my Booking.com reservation 😐. It was the Grand Prix weekend and she worked really hard to get me a room for 2 nights even though she said they were fully booked- I had to pay more but what could I do, I already flew in ?? I had confirmed my reservation with them earlier through booking.com because I was loooking for an early check in Actually they didn’t have any of my future reservations on the books - so I rebooked with the hotel directly.

The pool is located at the hotel next door (owned by same company)

The property was very clean and well taken care of. Staff was excellent.

There should be a continental breakfast included in the price of the room. The doors close very hard and loud. Door closers would be helpful.

The check in and check out process was very simple and easy. Whenever I needed assistance with anything, someone was always available. A staff member named Felipe went above and beyond with his customer service skills. He assisted my family and I during breakfast.
