I loved how it felt like a hotel you would find in Europe. Very quaint. They were remodeling at the time of our stay but gave us great accommodation and service. Even helped us carry our luggage to the second floor. It’s not a hotel with typical accommodation but was clean and served us perfectly in our travels. In the morning, we walked around the corner of the Green Leaf and enjoyed breakfast at the Breakfast Bar that was suggested by the front desk when checking in. We were charged the $150 deposit, which she allowed to be put on a different credit card than what we had booked the room under. We did receive credit back pretty quickly. We had a great stay.

Wish the pillows were not so small and they had spent more money on those plus provided more than three to our room.

Apprehensive about staying here after reading reviews from several sites. Upon arrival, my mind was made up that this was going to be a perfect stay. The building was built in the 1920's and has been dutifully cleaned and remodeled. It is clear this is a family owned and operated hotel. I was greeted kindly, all services explained, checked in with ZERO issues. The young lady at the reception desk explained how some reservations have had issues through booking.com however there was no issue with mine as it was paid in advance and the room and price was "locked in", so to speak. Room was quaint, served it's function, impeccably clean. Big festival weekend yet all guests were quiet and respectful, overall a great stay. Again, if you have never set foot in a building this old, you will not understand why the space is small. I think the remodel has come along beautifully and I really liked the antique floor heater/radiator as a display piece. Excellent stay. Comfortable bed.

That I didn't stay longer. There was no microwave in room. That I didn't bring my own towels.

Good location, next to many restaurants and busy streets and next to the Marina/shore. The room and bathroom looked renovated.

It was absolutely clean - the room was - the hardware flooring gave it an upscale feel - and the room itself was quite large with good lighting. The staff were top notch - very welcoming, friendly and quite professional. We arrived early and were allowed to drop our bags till proper check in time later on (and the bags were in a secure area - bonus). The hotel is old and that is also part of its charm. They are doing some remodelling, but not much should be done to this gorgeous place - it is also very close to a lot of amenities... short walks of 5-20 minutes for practically everything that one could need/want. I'd recommend staying here and I'd do it again when visiting Long Beach and area.

The only thing that was missing - and this was probably just an oversight --> there was no garbage cans in the room. The only other thing that might be an issue (wasn't for us as we did not have one) but that is parking a car, if you arrive via a car. There is no proper parking but the entire area is as such and you'd need to be parking on the street (we did not require this as we had no car)... But other than that -nothing wrong with this locale.

Very convenient location to many restaurants and the cruise port. Front desk staff were amazing and friendly. We paid extra to upgrade to a newer room, it was very nice except the ac/heat wasnt working yet and was covered in plastic. Still doing renovations on the building.

The room that we paid extra to upgrad to wasnt completely clean, there was dried bar soap stuck to the counter and woke up to a cockroach in the bathroom. No heat and there could have been a heater that was taken out...left gouged matks on floor by window. The toilet is a commercial one you would find at the mall and the bathtub didnt have a spout for the water...only the showerhead....very strange.

I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious my room was at the Greenleaf Hotel Long Beach Convention Center. With a large bed and a separate sitting area, I felt like I had plenty of space to relax and unwind after a long day. The bathroom was also surprisingly big, with a deep-soaking tub that was perfect for a post-conference wind-down. While the decor was a bit generic, the overall quality of the room was impressive. Would definitely stay again!

My recent stay at this hotel was such a pleasure. It had that boutique charm, while also feeling safe and secure. But the best thing were the staff, they absolutely made it worth the stay. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout my conference trip; I couldn't have asked for better service. Highly recommend!

The staff is very kind and went out of their way to help. Everything was very clean and I loved that there is a ceiling fan. It was hot, but the room was fresh. It is a basic hotel, but I had everything I needed and would come back again! I felt very welcome by everyone there and the room was bigger than I expected. Not sure where the bad reviews come from, as my experience was great!!!!

There are many homeless people in the area who make a lot of noise at night. Even with earplugs on I could still hear them.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The city view from my room was simply gorgeous and I loved having reception available 24 hours a day. The daily cleaning service was very much appreciated and the non-smoking rooms were a huge bonus. But most of all, I was very impressed with the staff. They were very welcoming and cooperative. They were there to help us at every point. I enjoyed my stay the most!
