Beachrunners Inn was our last stop at the end of a four-week-roadtrip with multiple accommodations - and it was by far the best of them: Starting with the warm welcome by Pat, the delicious breakfast, the beautiful and exceptionally clean house, comfortable bed and the peaceful backyard. We really felt at home at this classical B&B, which is situated very conveniently to explore the relaxed and creative neighborhood. If you're a runner you'll enjoy the nearby beach promenade. Also: Parking is included which comes in very handy due to the parking situation in this area. Can't say enough good things about Beachrunners Inn except that we want to come back: Stay here, if you're at Long Beach!

Nothing, everything was perfect

Beachrunners is an absolutely beautiful cottage a stone’s throw from the beach. The owner keeps it spotlessly clean and in excellent nick. The room was like staying in a good friend’s guest room: beautiful, comfortable, bed and pillows were great. The breakfast was fresh and lovely. Beachrunner is a true gem and if ever I’m in Long Beach again, I won’t even consider staying anywhere else!

EVERYTHING!!!! It was the most perfect vacation getaway. The comforts of home at your favorite relatives home was right there at Beachrunners Inn in Long Beach. The atmosphere from the very start was warm, inviting, congenial, and relaxing. Breakfast was freshly prepared, complete, and delicious. I methodically examined my beautiful omelet in hopes of replication in my own home. The breakfast dining arrangement looked like a magazine photo from Better Homes and Garden. Im still kicking myself for not taking a picture! My stay was an absolute dream that is difficult waking up from! I didn't, and still do not want to wake up to the reality of being back in Texas. I will definitely return SOON and stay longer.

Leaving!! I'm a native liberal Californian living in the conservative harsh environment of southeast Texas. This was my first trip back to my native land, for vacation, in over 25 years. OHHH!! How I do miss Cali. My home sweet home. I can truly stand tall on the roof of the Alamo and shout, I'm not an oddball, I'm a displaced NATIVE CALIFORNIAN.

The host is very friendly and helps wherever possible. The breakfast is extraordinary for a small bed&breakfast: big variety for every taste and of high quality. The kitchen facilities are open for the guests, you can store some food in the fridge and heat it in the microwave. A big living room with all necessary equipment to hang out.

The furnitures are old and the building is light-hearted. No central heater, only fan heater. The water of the shower is not very hot and takes a long time to come.

Pat very nice host. Good morning breakfast. Nice location. Very quiet.

Outdated outlets for electronics, hard to open door knob, and room needed a little heat in the morning, no heater. Nice fan for when warm in the summer. But in winter, it's nice to have a touch of heat, especially coming out of the shower. Constant drip in bathroom. Overall nice, just needs a little update and maintenance.

Very quaint and cozy, had a homey feel. Furniture and decor was classic and matched the craftsman feel of the home.

Room was smaller than expected off of photos and description (was listed as having a large shower and dressing area). Would work well for a simple get-away, but didnt have a whole lot of space to prepare and dress for special events in.

This is 100 year old plus structure preserved nicely for your stay. The beds were comfortable with crisp clean linens. The bathrooms were clean and the breakfast was superb.

The rooms are tiny with very little space to access suitcases, but this is due to the way the structure is built the carpets in the bedroom need replaced or cleaned well

Perfect location! Comfortable walking distance to the beach and easy access to downtown Long Beach. Included breakfast was great every day of my stay.

Rooms don't have air conditioning so the upstairs felt quite warm but room had a really quiet ceiling fan so it wasn't terrible. Water pressure a bit low in the shower but it's an old building!

we booking for our first anniversary the location was great easy access to walk to the beach feels like you are home Pat was very friendly breakfast was plenty and good if you want a different experience besides common hotel this is your place to stay plus the place was organized and clean ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don’t found anything to complain about

Being a B&B, this is literally a home in a beautiful little neighborhood. Pat, the innkeeper, was such an amazing hostess. She was personable and her breakfast was lovely. The rooms were homey and comfortable. I would highly recommend Beachrunner Inn to anyone.

Parking is difficult if you don't know where you are going. Very little street access, and their lot is kind of hidden if you haven't gotten the info from Pat.
