Residence by Marriott Inn Long Beach

The room was comparable to a comfortably sized apartment. The ability to cook and store/reheat leftovers saved a lot of time and money over the course of our stay. They also had a nice variety of foods available in their complimentary breakfast. The front desk staff were friendly and quick to address questions and requests. When they realized they'd made an error, they apologized without arguing over excuses and made sure we got the information we needed to proceed.

The nearby traffic was pretty loud, though that's to be expected due to the location. While windows could be opened to air out the room, we quickly decided it wasn't worth putting up with even more traffic noise. They also neglected to inform us that they were having work done on their TVs during our stay, leaving us unclear over whether the non-hotel-staff technician that showed up at our door was legitimate or just using a pretense to gain access to our unit. And while it's admittedly a minor gripe, they replaced our TV with one that could not rotate as far as the previous one, so we couldn't view the screen in bed without moving the entire dresser it was mounted to.

The location is really nice, it’s sits right around the corner from the freeway. It’s quiet and there is stores and food places very close by, the breakfast is really good especially the omelet’s with the salsa. The rooms smell good and it’s very clean even the carpet and the water gets really hot. the dining area for breakfast is so clean and beautiful as well and the variety of food selections is so nice and convenient and well organized, the beds are very comfortable with soft clean sheets and soft pillows along with great hair shampoo and body wash.

YYYAAAASSSSSSSSSSS!!! Celebrated my birthday like a literal queen. The room was damn near a studio apartment. The fireplace was SO BEAUTIFUL!!! This was literally the best place I’ve ever stayed. Expensive but worth it!!!! You get MORE than what you pay for. Free breakfast and not just like an egg and juice but like a whole breakfast: egg and sausage sandwich, boiled eggs, banana, cereal, juices, milk every morning- FREE! Free coffee and stuff in the room. The kitchenette had EVERYTHING- pots, pans, dishwasher and dish detergent, spoons, forks, plates, knives, spatulas- again literally everything. Ice maker in the freezer. Ironing board, extra linens in the room, plenty of space, INCREDIBLE and kind staff, pets allowed! The property feels so homey! Love love LOVE!

Having to leave!!!! I want to live there! It was perfect!! I’m so serious it was so beautiful and perfect! You could have guests over too because the couch was literally a pull out bed too! I had so much fun with my friends!

I really like the continental breakfast, nice selection. I also like that you are pet friendly, my dog was happy to spend a weekend getaway with us.

We did not like it because they told us you did not have a room cleaning service due to the pandemic. You laid off employees but your rates did not drop in price.

First I made the mistake of booking a room at the hotel Nextdoor to them the extended stay. And I’m use to staying at the residence Inn. I had to leave the residence inn immediately the first night I went to the bathroom the second I turned the light on roaches scattered everywhere So I went where I know is flawless the Marriot Residence Inn- these rooms are beautiful, they are fully equipped with a living room area, full size tv, full size fridge with ice maker, microwave, stove, dishwasher, And every pot, pan, plate, glass, mug, utensil u may need. They provide you with an Adequate number of pillows for a real humans as well as extra in one of the two closets u have to chose from They have amazing shampoo conditioner and body wash Netflix, HBO MAX, showtime, YouTube and regular cable are provided The room is awesome U really feel comfortable and the beds are amazing the ac works bomb the bath and shower rock I love this place I’ve stayed here many times and I live down the street but when you live in a toxic home a get away is the only thing to help keep u sane

I don’t like that u have to pay for ur parking spots I’ve never been to a hotel that charged to park anywhere on the premises And $500 cash deposit for the room seems steep Ima handyman I deal in cash I hate banks And it seems I’m punished everywhere for not have a credit card I’m not paying interest on my money u lost ur mind

I loved that the room was cleaned, organized, bed was super comfy. The kitchen was clean and had everything I need to to cook a meal. The pool was also clean and there was not alot of people.

I didn’t like the pool didn’t have enough towels. A family took all the towels that were there and I called for more and no one came to reload the towel cart.

The bathrooms could be cleaned better. There was hair on the soap dispenser. And the floor around the toilet didn’t look clean

Loved it's condo like feel, very quiet and peaceful,the breakfast was very nice. Parking was very spacious and egress was very easy.

We got 2 rooms, one room was damaged, a light fixture on the nightstand was ripped, and the refrigerator had some dings, also it smelled like cigarettes, we traveled with my son and his girlfriend and 1 yr old granddaughter.

Staff and location are great. I do like the facility. I have stayed here a few times. I like the aspect of it feeling like having your own apartment in a sense.

I didn’t like my key card being deactivated on the day of my check out. I was taking my luggage to vehicle and came back to room and the key didn’t work. Luckily someone was still in the room to let me in. Price was a little bit high but the room and what it has to offer makes up for it.
