The location and views of the Marina are excellent. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Check-in and parking were easy. The restaurant, while expensive served excellent food.

The $25 per day parking fee was excessive and a surprise. Use of the TV was overly complicated. There was no microwave in the room, a feature of hotels far cheaper. The shower head was not adjustable so it did not have enough force for rinsing. The water bottles for sale in the room were not sealed. Anyone could use the water and simply refill from the tap. The wood of our balcony railing was rotted. Finally, the room was cramped. The one chair was crammed into a corner next to the bed making it uncomfortable to use

Amazing customer service, they upgraded our bedroom to a higher floor upon request. Beautiful restaurant and amenities. Small gym but with a gorgeous view to the garden. Rooms are good for a 3* hotel, nothing luxurious but clean and well maintained. Great location close to Venice beach and Abbott Kinney.

The hotel offers a great bike rental service, however there are no breaks (you need to pedal backwards!). Pretty common in CA, but quite complicated for foreigners. Also, getting a taxi there is quite complicated, it would be amazing if there could be taxis available throughout the day.

I liked the fact that all the administration seemed low key - when you needed something done it was completed efficiently. Flying in from Australia we were able to book for night before and check in upon arrival from airport. Considering that this is not always possible we were very grateful. Location is excellent being about 15 mins from Venice Beach and being on Main Beach itself.

The fact I couldn’t boil water for a cup of tea and no Room Service. You can order your meal from the restaurant and collect. Not always suitable.

The location is fantastic. The hotel is located in Marina Del Rey (a great area), just a few meters from Venice Beach. This region is very good for strolling, walking along the beach and enjoying the vibe of Los Angeles.

Breakfast could have more options. You can choose only one option from the menu and you cannot freely take the food like in other breakfast restaurants. Another point of improvement would be the possibility of early check-in. I arrived in Los Angeles at 7 am and they let me check in only at 1:30 pm at the Hotel.

While it was handy to be near LAX and The Forum where we had an event, it is quite far to be doing touristy activities anywhere other than Venice beach. 1.5-2hr bus rides to Hollywood and surrounding attractions.

Rooms were clean, staff were very friendly and the location was great.

The room had a very loud noise from what we presume was the outside air con system on the side of the building. We were so tired after travelling that we stayed in the room but had to ask for a different room when we returned a couple of days later. Also there was no complimentary bottled water in the rooms - this is a must.

The location on the marina beach is very nice. Beautiful views. We had a marina view room, which was worth paying a bit extra. The restaurant was excellent, great food. The staff was very friendly and we found it convenient that we could rent bikes from the hotel. Also, there is kayak and paddle boards for rent at the end of the parking lot. On Saturday morning there is a farmer’s market at the opposite end of the beach that was fun to visit.

It’s a bit frustrating that you have to request room cleaning, which means running out of consumables like shampoo or cups and always having to request these items. The vending machines need replacement—they don’t work well the card reader worked half fhe time and they sometimes don’t dispense the product.

Expensive restaurant. Fireworks at night were loud. Parking was challenging even after paying for parking. The pool was very small. The swimming area was very shallow.
