Travelodge by Wyndham Culver City

We were given a room where there was a very strong cigarette smell when we entered. The man at the reception readily swapped another room for us. Room is big and spacious. TV is very big. Shampoo, conditioner, soap bar, shoe shine, shower cap and makeup remover wipes are provided. Bed is comfortable, but pillow has a cigarette smell. Coffee making machine is provided. Fridge is also available. Location is 30mins drive to Hollywood and very near airport. Plenty of free parking onsite. Staff is friendly and allowed us to keep our luggages at the reception before check in time. They also allowed us to keep luggages after we check out, must retrieve within same day.

Housekeeping missed to provide a floor cloth for our use. Ongoing construction woke us up early in the morning.

For the type of stay we wanted, this worked perfectly for us. We are tourists and we’re leaving the hotel at 8am and returning at 10pm so no other than a place to sleep. We paid for a double king suite and the beds were huge and really comfy! Plenty of space in the room. Location is fine as everything we found in LA was pretty spread out. Cafe and petrol station opposite too :)

Reception staff were a little cold with us when we arrived. The bathroom has no window and is really small so can get hot in there but there is a huge sink space outside of the bathroom so this is very minor.

I was happy with the location, close to the Venice Beach. Part of our group moved by buses so we were happy there are bus stops close by. Keep in mind that LA is very big, the distances and traffic are huge so moving by car or bus takes a lot of time. We were very happy with our room. It was big and very comfortable for our 4-adult group. We had plenty of space. There was a small fridge, coffee machine, microwave and even a small sofa and coffee table. The bathroom was clean and nice. Next to the hotel there are restaurants, bars and some small grocery stores. The hotel is highly recommended.

location is great close to the Getty and universal studios. if you are planning on going to Disney this is not the hotel for you. it’s too far. even though internet was not working it was overall a good staying. gas station right across the street and on-site restaurant serving good food. I will not go back to Cali because everything was super expensive while in Dallas where I live Gas was 3.11 there Gas prices were insane 6.54 I will recommend this hotel because it was clean and location is great to visit different places

Large room, clean, well furnished and even adjacent to a busy street, was unusually quiet.

Even though she was efficient, the person at the desk was not very friendly, offered no information on any amenities, eateries, breakfast. or housekeeping procedures.

Room was remodeled. Loved that they replaced the rugs with laminate. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was a walk in. No climbing over a bathtub. Staff was very pleasant and friendly.

Security. The door to our room was a bit difficult to close when leaving. We made sure we used extra force to make sure it closed each time we left. The first day we went out we came back and our door was not securely closed, it could have been opened with a slight push. We assumed that when the housekeeping staff left the room that morning they didn't close the door securely. We notified the staff.

the room was clean, the shower worked great, no issues. the room was large with a sofa and a king sized bed. I also had a small table that I could sit at and move it around so I could use my laptop throughout the room. The parking spots were a good size and I was able to get into and out of my car easily. the bed felt good, with no issues.

The door to my room did not close properly the first time I left, I had to pull on it to make sure it locked. I did not have any other issues with the room.

Big rooms with a couch, workdesk and kingsize bed. Overall clean. TV on the wall in front of the bed, alarmclock, poweroutlets by the bed and a functioning AC. Available parking is always a plus if you have a car. Location is great with Thai, pizzashop and a gasstation just accross the street. All in all everything was working and the bed was comfortable. Good place to stay if you want to avoid other budget places that is just a disaster.

Rooms are staring to get a little outdated perhaps? Nothing urgent yet, but a little paint would not hurt. Aircon is not integraded in the walls and makes a little much sound in order for me to sleep. Temperature in LA was not that bad, so I manged to sleep with the AC off. Waterpressure in shower was fair. Notised a small leak.

The room was large and clean. The parking lot was super convenient. The bed was super comfortable. The location was good too.

The switches of the lights are not very continent. You always have to go all the way to turn it off if you’re on the other side of the room. I’d rather have the chance to set the pressure of the shower. I couldn’t connect my phone to the TV.

The Hotel is central in Culver City in a save neighborhood. Many littele restaurants and fast food places within walking distance. Good overnight parking. Elevators. Rooms are a good size. Fridge, coffeemaker and microwave.

Wifi was terrible! The cleaning ladys came very late during the day, so it was often not conviennient to have them clean, because we were already back from our daily doings!
