The decor was very nice. I really like the boutique hotels.

The restaurant was only open for dinner so we had to go out for breakfast and lunch. This was made more complicated by the inability to just get in our car and drive because only valet parking was available. We couldn’t walk because my husband had hip replacement surgery and cannot walk long distances. Also did not like being charged for parking when valet parking is the only option. No self parking on the premises and no parking in the street.

excellent value for money - if you are thinking of saying a Nobu, this is your alternative, and a way better value. Keep in mind that a number of the restaurants are a 3-5 min uber away....easily justified

Odd that the place does not accept cash...unless you tip in cash and THEN cash is A-OK....I think the concept of "legal for all debts private and public" has escaped a number of places in CA

No restaurant for breakfast; challenging shower fixtures, lighting, TV (QR code needed or suggested for something) and coffee service in the room with no instructions, communication with staff was all via text. Front desk staff seemed to double as valets and doormen (persons?).

We loved how the rooms felt like home. We loved the liquid soap in the bathroom instead of the bar soap. We loved the lightning in the room. The staff was attentive and friendly.

We wish there was a pool. We wish there was a microwave in the room.

the noise insulation between floors is lacking. u can hear too well when people are walking or bouncing a tennis ball (yes, that happened to us!) at night

I loved the furniture, and the fact that I felt like I was in Europe.

i didn’t like the sliding door in the toilet, it didn’t give me enough privacy. And we really didn’t like the working hours of the restaurant, of the 4 days we stayed we could have breakfast only once (on a Sunday). it is very weird for a hotel to not have breakfast every day.

Very nice comfortable room

We booked this hotel based on location and the fact it had a restaurant and bar. When we arrived we were informed The restaurant and bar were closed due to the 4th of July, that should have been explained at the time of the booking.

Park James had a great location, rooms were nicely designed, very clean. But really the thing that stood out was the staff. Incredibly nice and responsive team. Very genuine and caring from the manager Lyle to Cookie and everyone else. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and memorable.

Extremely comfortable, very helpful staff, and good locations.

Breakfast facilities could be slightly better. The cafe has few choices and does not open on Sundays.
