Days Inn by Wyndham Novato/San Francisco

The staff was helpful and friendly. The only complaint I have was that I wish our room had central A/C. The existing wall mounted a/c worked better as the night progressed(it was a hot weekend so the a/c was struggling). Other than that everything was great! We stayed in the larger one story room that had the jacuzzi tub so it was in the back bottom level. The room was very spacious & had a large restroom with a tub. The jacuzzi tub was in the living space separate from the bathroom and bed area. The Jets on the tub worked very well & the hot water didn't run out. The wall mounted tv was able to extend out so we could lay in bed and watch movies. The back sliding door opened facing the swimming pool which was lovely as we had a breeze coming through the screen door in the evening. The sliding curtains were a heavy material so during the day we were able to dim the room lighting to a comfortable tone. The refrigerator kept our drinks cold & the microwave heated up our food fast! I give this place a thumbs up & will definitely stay here again in the future.

Location was everything, we spent one day in Novato and another in San Francisco. Laying out by the pool was great and we liked that the room had a sliding glass door right off the pool.

The toilet wasn't cleaned all the way, there was still urine around the base of the toilet near the floor. Also, some of the lounge chairs at the pool were broken which made laying out a little difficult.

The man who was working at the counter was an absolutely horrible person. From the moment I walked in…I asked how his day was going with his reply “I was fine till you walked in”he berated and insulted me to no end because I was going to ask about a possible early check in. He did not let me talk and continued to insult me about how I have a sense of entitlement and that I was lucky the room was actually ready. We drove from 5 hours away straight and needed to freshen up before our event- I had called the day before to see if we could stop in early to check. Finally when I was able to talk, I told him for the sake of all the other customers I hope he changes his attitude and he said “Nope, it’ll change when I leave here”. Appalling and I suggest you replace the dude.

We had a second floor queen room with balcony. The room was good sized and recently updated. While the hotel is close to the freeway, the rooms face the opposite direction, so you have little highway noise and a nice view of hills and oak trees.

The included breakfast consisted of weak coffee and packaged sugary snacks - Twinkies, chocolate cupcakes, madeleines, etc. The only remotely healthy items were the apples and granola bars.

It’s so nice and clean at this Days Inn. It is also convenient to all the good spots in Novato.

nice,clean pool. There’s no building behind the property with view of the hills from the pool. I came in early, like 12:30 noonish as I was very tired and luckily my room was ready and the front desk lady let me check in. Was grateful to her.

the fridge was unplugged. I use fridges. I understand saving energy but would have liked an already cold one. my toilet didn’t flush, at first, then was ok. I told the front desk to have someone check out the pull chain in the tank

room was clean quiet, grounds were clean. pool hot tub nice

the breakfast choices were really not healthy. Hostess cupcakes, twinkie type etc. there were tiny apples and granola bars but it was probably the worst i have ever seen. no eggs, oatmeal, yogurt etc. i understand the breakfast is limited due to COVID but there should have been more healthy choices

the tv was modern (wish they remote to the tv was accessible instead of just the DishTV remote, could have used my hdmi device) and bathrooms were nice. could have used a microwave. pool was very nice. ground floor rooms are best with direct access to pool area.

All was as expected. The room was nice and clean.

Breakfast was minimal. Vending machines had very little selections. Advanced booking was BAD. They did NOT have a room booked for me even though I had booked it thru "Booking.com" more than a week prior. At check-in the clerk was able to accomodate me even though all hotels in the area were full.

I liked the pool, the view, the air. Enjoyed having a fridge and a microwave in the room. TV was great and walls were thick enough so that sound wouldn't go through between beds. Being 6 min away from downtown Novato was GREAT too 👌

Not knowing whether breakfast was available or not. It's ok though, with Covid being a thing, I wasn't too fond about going to have breakfast with others lol. Wi-Fi was ok, not great for streaming but still good for online gaming. Overall still a great place to stay.
