Days Inn by Wyndham Palm Springs

So this is an older facility and is definitely showing signs of age, however the staff were extremely helpful and kind when I had to check out early due to my daughter being poorly and gave us a full refund for the nights we didn't use. This was much appreciated. The pool area is also very nice.

The shower was freezing cold the first day and then alternated between boiling hot and freezing cold. I would like to return once it has been refurbished and boilers sorted as it has good staff and could be lovely with some TLC!

We stayed 3 nights here. We reached late evening around 8 PM from LA. The rooms are big and every room on the ground floor has a glass door at the back to help access the parking (car). I really like it. The hotel was spread over a large area and it had a resort-type look - open, spread out, with lots of trees, a pool, a hot tub, mountains in the background, etc. There is a restaurant right next to the hotel (actually within its campus. There is a gas station right opposite. Any place of interest is within 5-10 minutes drive. The famous Monroe statue and the main shopping street (Palm Canyon Drive) are just a 5-minute drive. Next to the Monroe statue, there is a large free parking spot (public parking). We really enjoyed our stay here. We did not use the pool or the hot tub but found many people using the hot tub.

Water quality was poor because it's a desert area (I am not complaining). Finding our room was a little difficult as the room numbers were not visible from the parking side. You have to go inside and they find the rooms from inside of the hallways.

We needed an accessible room for my friend in a wheelchair. It worked out well; not sure if she would have managed on her own though. There were grab bars and the parking spot was right outside of the room, which was super convenient. Staff was really nice and helpful. There is a restaurant right onsite for breakfast and lunch, which was really nice.

The toilet flushed so strong that the water and debris splashed out of the toilet; even when closing the lid, it got dirty, so needed to be cleaned. The room/bathroom could have been a little cleaner, but I''m sure the housekeepers do the best they can; the ones we saw were very nice and helpful. Not a lot of room in the bathroom for toiletries, etc; more counter space is always nice. And there was only a chair at the desk/table; no comfy chair, which my friend in the wheelchair would have found helpful. Overall, it was acceptable.

Ihave stayed here before. It is an older motel and mostly pretty clean but the hall carpet is in bad shape. the room was comfy with great king bed and mattress. The pool is very very good and large compared to other hotel pools. there were hall security doors and plenty of parking. The only thing that is bad is the car entrance; very hard to see and so is the excellent coffee shop next door. Both entrances are dark and small and not marked. One must enter the coffee shop curb entrance to access the room location parking as the property is very spread out.

We stayed five nights. Very convenient location with Ricky's excellent restaurant on property and Billy Reed's excellent restaurant across the street and down one block. Room was clean and quiet. King bed was very comfortable. Large outdoor pool and spa in great condition and grounds were well kept. Unfortunately it was unusually cool so didn't use the pool but looked inviting. Facility is an older building but is kept up well. It was a good value especially during Modernization week when rates seem higher in Palm Springs.

Bathtub drain was slow and bathtub hot water valve wouldn't turn all the way off. Told staff when leaving and I think it just needed a new valve seat.

Check in was super easy and the staff was kind, patient, attentive. My room and the property were both very clean. There wasn’t trash blowing around the grounds or anything. The trash cans were not over flowing at all. The pool was perfect. (also we came for Easter and three of the staff ladies came over to us while we were swimming and started to hide some Easter eggs for my daughters—those ladies were absolutely precious.) I got the vibe that the hotel is allocating it’s resources to keep cleanliness a priority instead of keeping everything modern and up to date. And that’s fine by me. I’d rather stay/sleep/swim at a place that prioritizes cleanliness rather than making everything seem beautiful but it’s dirty.

Everything was, honestly, just fine. There isn’t a lot of glitz and glamour or hotel accessories to judge here. I had a clean room and swam in a clean pool and that was all that I wanted. Oh, the toilet in my room was one of those with a ridiculously powerful/loud flush. I get it. A lot of people in and out, no one wants to deal with toilet issues. But that was just… loud. Again, everything was clean but that toilet was so loud 😅

The staff were EXTREMELY friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Especially wonderfully kept were the pool, hot tub, small gym, and the grounds. These were my favourite things about the property. Also the surrounding neighbourhoods behind the property were perfect for walking and cycling. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. It was very handy having an excellent restaurant nearby for breakfast. There were a few corner stores nearby as well.

The owner needs to spend some money on renovations and upgrades to the pool deck and the rooms. It seems they are just doing cheap temporary fixes to the pool deck when really, the entire deck needs power washing and resurfacing. Also it seems they are simply fixing things in the rooms on as 'as needed' basis. The room I had didn't have a bathroom fan that was functioning. The carpet was buckling in a few places. The AC and the heat worked off an on in an inconsistent fashion. Mostly the AC worked adequately but when I needed the heat mode in the first few days of my stay it only would heat periodically and then switch to cool air.

Front greeting started our great stay. The rooms were well furnished and bed comfy as well as pillows. Loved having our own patio and view of the pool. The spa was a great temp. and inviting. Parking was ample. Having the Rick's out front was great, really great food and crew, they been around like 40 years, they have the food and service down! The location was just what we wanted, close to center of Palm Springs and close to the Airport. No complaints! Would stay there again.

Could have bigger bathrooms, but that said, the hotel is older, size wise, not the appointments. great fluffy towels and the bath collection was nicely appreciated.

This no frills affordable hotel offers free parking, a comfortably appointed room with mini fridge and microwave, a large pool and hot tub area, and it's conveniently located to attractions like the Palm Springs Aerial Tram and Tahquitz Canyon hiking.

The only downside was the damaged patio chairs. Definitely NOT a deal breaker, but it would have been nice to have functional chairs to sit on and sip a cup of coffee. Given that we only stayed one night, it wasn't worth bothering Front Desk staff about.

The hotel is just on the fringe of Palm Springs centre and there is plenty of parking. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there is a very good pool with a heated "hot tub". There is a diner on-site (although not part of the hotel) which is fine for breakfasts. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with a huge bed.

The business centre was closed but the staff helped us by printing some documents from a memory stick. Overall, the hotel is rather tired but is due for a complete refurbishment this year and it should be excellent once this is completed.
