Days Inn by Wyndham San Diego/Downtown/Convention Center

Booking.com was not responding well to my reservation changes, but the desk people were very helpful...First a gentleman at the desk who found we were double booked even though Booking.com could not find the 2 bookings. Later Leticia was able to cancel one of the two nights we were booked for when again booking.com seemed impossible to reach by phone. It was great that they moved us to a balcony room when they did not have the 2 queen ready, which worked out great since it was just the 2 of us. Beautiful jacaranda trees from front entrance. Also walkable to Petco stadium!!

Everything was very good, it just seemed a bit overpriced for the condition of the hotel. Also, we paid extra on booking.com for a "breakfast" that was just a to-go box. It may have been booking.com's fault for not listing it as a "light breakfast". We did find a shirt beside the bedside table. Also expected 2 chairs on the patio, not one.

We read the reviews beforehand so we were expecting bad things.. but it we think they must have been old reviews as it seems to have changed! We loved it. The staff were friendly, there was hot coffee and tea available all day, the room was spacious and really clean with a balcony, bed was so comfortable, location was easy to access and safe, what’s not to like!

The Wi-Fi was pretty bad so if you don’t have data on your phone it’s quite hard to do anything

Room smelled extremely clean as we walked in You should be able to see your car parking lot in most rooms They let us choose floor and if we had a balcony (preface we did check in about 5 minutes earlier then check in time so very early on)

Checked under bed and looked a bit dusty but nothing major in the room Also elevator wasn’t working, we only stayed the night so it wasn’t that bad of walk

I like the staff that are very helpful.Especially to someone like me who is disabled.And you may feel like a human being and not like just some poor customer.They were very prquestion mark.They're exactly what you would want record

Only thing I didn't like is how they didn't have a laundry service or a facility

Check-in was very pleasant and a breeze with staff member, Bill. The facility is dated, but the location is walking distance to many places in the Gaslamp. Our room was perfect...quiet with lots of space, and included a balcony with a beautiful view of the city. The bed was also very comfortable.

Good location at walking distance down town and Bilbao Museums and Zoo. Room size and clinliness was good. Staff particularly the lady at reception was very courteous and helpful.

Lift had strong smell probably of paint. Breakfast was ready to eat parcel. There is no breakfast restaurant in hotel.

The location was perfect for tourism. The room was also very comfortable and maid service was consistent. We always had fresh clean towels.

We didn't have very much information on the breakfast. I think it could help to have some information with the key card about hours or location, we couldn't find information on the website either.

I liked the pricing and convenience of location, only five minutes away from where I was scheduled to work.

The parking was a little tight but doable. I'm sure it was an older location but otherwise your location worked for me.

I liked the location right in down town and when I reserved the room it said no breakfast available but they did give these little to go breakfast which were perfect for the kids. Room was clean.

Could use a waffle maker :)

The young girl with colorful hair at the reception was not helpful. Other than that, all the staff and the blonde lady at the reception were very attentive. Thank you very much to them.
