I like the budget friendly pricing and the idea of a self operated hotel. There is no check in counter but they replies very fast on chats for any queries. I would recommend to download their app and everything will be super smooth. Overall my experience was really good considering the area and prices as compare to other similar hotels.

1. The process for checkin was bit annoying because the system was not identifying my face but it worked when I uploaded a ID card already scanned...I guess a clear instruction could be helpful. 2. Also few things like the cleaning is not included in the hotel price was not clear from booking.com however it was clearly mentioned in their app. 3. The room shown in pictures was different then in real...there were no windows in my room...I can assume because of the unavailability due to conference but needs to be clearify while booking.

It had all the amenities I needed and was clean. It was also fairly close to where all the downtown action was. It was quiet and private in the room where I was. And maybe because I stayed during Comic Con, my room had a welcome kit with complementary water bottles and snacks.

The rooms are very small, but I didn’t mind it because it made me feel like I was in a European hotel.

The location was really great and the building and the room beautiful and well taken care of. I didn't interact with any staff as there was nobody there but the check in process was easy.

The parking situation is atrocious, which made things logistically very complicated, especially as I was traveling for work. The blinds in my room didn't seal out the light very well so that was an issue for me but I understand not everyone might be affected by that.

i love the style of the property and location

The room didn’t have enough storage/ shelving for personal belongings in the bathroom or bedroom. Had to set everything on the ground or clutter up nightstand which already doesn’t have much room. Would have been nice to have a slender table against wall for personal belongings. Also no where to hang multiple towels.

Great spot! Location was great. We walked to breakfast and drove 10 minutes to the beach. Room was beautiful as was the bathroom. The roof top was really cool and fun to go chill out. The place is old but it is apart of the charm. Narrow hallways and low banisters but beautiful woodwork and lots of style.

Parking little frustrating but thats probably how it is everywhere in that area. The walls were a little thin. Which with a toddler was more a problem for others. We felt bad we had a guy come tel us to stop bouncing a bouncy ball at 6 in the morning. But what can you do with old buildings... or toddlers.

Bed was very comfortable. Atmosphere was great. Rooms and building was cute. Had a very antique look. Loved that doors opened with a code, so you don't have to worry about forgetting or losing the key. Shower in room was very nice. Room top common area was super cute. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Rooms didn't have mini fridge, microwave or cable. No coffee in the lobby. No ice machines. The bed seemed too small for a king.

I loved our room! It was very comfortable, with a balance of cozy and modern. The shower was incredible! And it was very easy to come and go as we pleased.

The staff that arrived to clean our room knocked on our door at exactly checkout time, as we were picking up our bags to leave, and they were very unfriendly and unhappy we were still there. It made me feel bad, even though we were checking out on time.

I enjoyed the room. the balcony was pretty. the easy check in and out instructions were great. I loved there was lockers to stop eluggage after check out until our flight.

I wish the shower had two full doors instead of just one half one.

parking! even the street parking sucks we had to park at a parking lot up the street and you can do over night parking but you have to either pay for more parking or move your car by 10am. it’s like like a full 24hr parking deal
