Wonderful location, very clean, breakfast was delicious in fact that’s the reason we opted for this hotel again. Staff exceptionally friendly, the breakfast area was maintained very clean and great food variety including fresh made waffles. Location close to buses , train, trolley and walking distance to old town.
Room seemed a little beat up and a little dusty but linens were clean. Also think it could use another chair.

if you have to quarantine for five days due to close contact and a positive test (with no symptoms), there are far worse places to be under voluntary house arrest! Lovely faux balconies so you can have fresh air, pleasant decor, and of course Sam Diego weather is nothing to sneeze at (because you didn’t have symptoms).
It was a little bit pricy, but probably not by San Diego standards.

I liked the hotels cleanliness and how close it was to everything.
I feel that having an option for continental breakfast was a waste I do not eat breads so being given a paper bag with oatmeal and a muffin was not an ideal breakfast I did have to eat somewhere else if I knew this I wouldn’t have gotten a room that included breakfast, I believe there should be some options available for breakfast not just being given a bag of things I couldn’t eat. The receptionist did not provide information to where the ice machine was what time was breakfast or WiFi I believe these are very important to present guest with.

The property was kept very clean.
Walking down the hallway there were dips in the floor. This was also in our room. We didn’t like that there was a lip (lifted edge) walking into bathroom. Very hazardous for someone to trip and injure themselves!

It was very close to restaurants and had it's own parking.
Had to pay extra for parking. The AC unit in the room was extremely loud. The lobby and breakfast area did not have AC and it was very hot!

The staff went out of their way to assist guests
The room was old with minor dings in furniture and wood. the air conditioner was exceptionally noisy. Was surprised at the cost of parking in addition to an expensive room
