Old Town Western Inn

I liked that it was very close to downtown which was the location that I wanted to learn more about. The location was awesome.

Unfortunately the water was way too hot in the shower. I told the staff in the front office twice about the temperature in the water. They said that someone went to fix the problem after we left the room. When I got back I wanted to shower again but I didn't want to waste water trying to regulate the water so I can shower. I almost burn myself to try to shower. Besides the water situation, all was good.

Great breakfast and the person who was at the breakfast was very sweet. Overall staff was great.

It has good customer service, a convenient location, not far away from beautiful places. Nice room, but yes, it's not deluxe, but it has everything that you need, including a fridge, microwave, hairdryer, steam iron and coffee machine. And it was a nice breakfast, especially when the receptionist was making waffles by himself and there were delicious cakes and good oatmeal! I felt a really warm atmosphere in that old inn.

The western inn was very conveniently located for an event we were attending all weekend at Mission Bay

Small parking spaces inside, but at least there were parking spaces inside. 😂

Quiet when the neighbors turned off their music :)

the staff was very nice all 4 i encountered were very very nice. the room was HUGE. i upgraded to the king suite on a deal offered by the hotel. this was a plus.

i wish breakfast lasted til 930 or 10. it only runs 7-9 am.

Very close freeway access, great walkability, awesome location, clean and secure property. The property is a bit old however, it is kept very clean. The breakfast provided in the morning was great. Great place for the value!!! I highly recommend.

I wish there was a way to privately mention this! The vents on the AC unit were covered in black mold spots. A quick wipe down would eliminate this issue. I mention this because it deterred me from using the heat in the room and it could do serious harm to those of us with mold allergies. It is a liability for the establishment and guests alike.

Great value for the price, especially if you compare it to other hotels in and around Old Town. Great location, good wifi, comfortable bed and nice refurbished bathroom with a tub. Rooms have a fridge and microwave.

Too many light entering the room at night (there were no curtains and the shutters were ill-fitted for the window and broken). Most of the furnitures in my room (chair, coffee table) were also broken, but I didn't plan on using them so it was not a big deal.

Location and price

Front desk agent was not friendly or welcoming at all. Scowling face. Didn't talk at all. She put the paper that I had to sign in front of me without explaining anything. I stayed quiet waiting for her to explain the rate and tell me what I'm signing my signature and initial certain spots. I had to ask her. She finally replied and seemed very annoyed I asked her. After that she gives me the key without explaining what room number or floor. I had to ask her myself and also had to ask for the parking permit. Once again looked at me in disgust and then finally gave me the permit. She was very unprofessional.
