Quality Inn San Diego I-5 Naval Base

Great greeting from Laura on arrival. Basic accomodation, but as expected as we weren't going for an expensive stay. Beds very comfy, great air conditioning, very clean. It was easy to walk to 2 garages very close by to get snacks and found a friendly liqour store owner close by. Not the greatest area but felt quite safe. Easy access off the motorway but a bit noisy as right by the motorway. Breakfast very basic, but this was as described, it is a grab and go breakfast but very different to any other hotel breakfast. You grab a wrap in a fridge and heat it up in the microwave and have paper cups for tea and coffee. We were very comfortable though and a very spacious room with a bar fridge so we could stock up on snacks.

No tea bags in the room, I have learnt now to carry my own tea with me when I travel. Breakfast not great but did offer yoghurt and an apple and fruit juice but I did not enjoy the heat up meal.

The very helpful and very professional and polite. My stay wasn’t populating on the computer, but he told me to rest assured that will get me a room. And I was coming from Palm Springs. Just trying to have a little spontaneous little trip with my kids, and it felt good to not worry about where I was gonna stay that night.

I was told the wrong information about breakfast, when we check in the lady in the front office told me breakfast is from 7-10, and when I went to try to get a coffee at 9:40 breakfast was over, I told the man in the front office and he did nothing, all I wanted was a cup of coffee, he wasn’t very helpful or nice. I would mot stay again

I like the cleanliness. I choose this place because of the review about the cleanliness. I brought my toddler son, so I really need a clean place to stay. And I was satisfied, the room was very clean as I expected.

The bed size and breakfast were not satisfied me. We chose the king size bed, but the size was not really a king size; it was smaller than a king size, but it was a comfortable bed. Our room included breakfast but with that price, the breakfast could have be better.

Clean, daily towels change, nice breakfast, very convenient location - quick access to Coronado bridge/beach

Google maps navigation doesn’t work well with the hotel address, tip: navigate to the closest shell gas station and use exit 12 on the highway

The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is good with two waffles machine, oranges, apples, yogurt, cereals, juice and coffee. Just missing eggs. The location is good.

The breakfast room is too small.

Staff was amazing, room was super clean, and rooms have microwave and fridge. Best of all, they had real items available for their free breakfast. I know with covid most places just do something lame like a Granola bar, but they had sandwiches, muffins, juice, and coffee available! It was a pleasant surprise.

It was a bit farther than I thought it was going to be from seaworld, which was my main reason for needing the room. And the pillows were not my cup of tea. Too lumpy and fat.

The staff were very nice and easy to work with. They cleaned are room when we were gone. Even folded some of out clothes on the floor. The room was very quiet and couldn't hear the other rooms around us. The water pressure was good.

The pillows were pretty firm. The hot water wasn't really hot. Thats pretty much it.

Just off the freeway ramp, one entrance only, surrounded by concrete walls topped with chain link fences with bright parking lot lights, car and contents felt very safe. A very good remodel

Right next to the freeway you can get to all top San Diego attractions quickly. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and service was good

The breakfast was very basic with some danish, frozen burger and coffee/juice.
