Super 8 by Wyndham National City Chula Vista

I was very pleased with my stay at the Wyndham National City CA. I live just down the street but I had plumbers removing my septic tank and hooking my house up to the sewer line. I've lived in Bonita for over 40 years. I frequent Plaza Bonita which is right down the street from the Wyndham property, you could actually walk but on this particular weekend it was a monsoon. The best part about that property, in my humble opinion, the owners and/or managers were very nice and it's not like they run a tight ship but it was very nice and quiet and just plain pleasant. I stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Chula Vista CA. around New Years. OMG what a nightmare drug deals going down in the parking lot pit bulls everywhere. Since I'm a retired Federal Prosecutor this was like being in hell! They overcharged me and the first night I had people knocking on my door (9X). I will definitely recommend this property every chance I get. I do remember this property years ago and it was seedy and run down. They've done a beautiful job!! I guess the riff raff from years ago have now relocated to the Red Roof Inn.

No breakfast, a bit crowded parking.

Everything. Was pretty comfortable. I like that it doesn't have carpet. Overall pretty clean, Everything worked. I took 2 bedrails to put on bed for my toddlers so they wouldnt fall. There's a 7 Eleven right next to it and easy to get fwy 805.

Actuallu by going with the reviews I got nervous after booking but I sctually have nothing bad to say.

Room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable, it was also quiet.I would return , and recommend it to friends and family.

Not sentry located, not close to restaurants, or fast food plases.

The property was clean the room was big right off the fwy that’s a plus for me.

The down side was that it was kind of expensive and everything was closed the pool and breakfast.

It was clean and it was just as expected. Cleaning ladles were great very polite. Also the location is pretty good. They are many locations near to eat something.

Some of the staff in front desk were nice but one was very rude. Asking for my id after provided the night before. Its understandable so I didn't make a scene since i had nothing to hide. Also he had no respect, staring at my friend (female) both coming in and out non stop.

noises you can hear your neighbor fighting and then making up. room had old cigarette smell.

Fortunately my room had balcony. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was very good at cleaning my room and also polite.

I just like that pool wasnt open for both nights I stayed. It would have been nice to do some night swimming.

The room was very spacious and I liked having an in room fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

Die to covid they no longer offered breakfast nor was the pool available.
