Days Inn by Wyndham Chula Vista-San Diego

Very nice surprise. Room had a lot of square footage. Very clean floors. Nice soft towels. Comfortable bed. Price better than el cajon hotels of same level but muxh nicer and well maintained. Bravo to owner / manager!

No water ro drink in room and temperamental tv remote. Ac only works when it wants to. Definitely recommend over wyndham owned hotels like motel 8 and days inn. Think the higher quality towels and bed was the decidng factor

Location. Centrally located to restaurants and shopping.

The awful smell of people constantly smoking marijuana and the sounds of being awoken in the middle of the night from people arguing and police pounding on the neighbors door next door. Also the amount of people loitering in the parking lot at all times of the day and night reminds me of Motel 6. Lack of security in parking lot.

loved it so clean and refurbished. the staff were extremely helpful and friendly

nothing that I didn’t like. I would suggest that a rubber mat for the bath do you don’t slip in the shower and a 2 seater sofa and coffee table in the bigger rooms would make the room more comfortable for those staying a few days.

The room was comfortable and clean. Like that I could drive to the mall and stores in the area

The building across the way look like abandon buildings. And possibly homeless people in their vehicles.

I enjoyed the location being in between two trolley stations. There's plenty of spots to eat, to grab supplies of any kind, a thrift store if you're desparately in need of clothes & a 7Eleven right down the block across the street. A mall is down the street as well, with a movie theatre.

The only thing I didn't care for too much is the office time sometimes being unavailable I had to wait to check-in. Another I didn't care for too much is the expensive soda's. I get that 7Eleven down the street, but 1.50 for a 12 oz soda is too much. Not a big deal though, the check in was a lil annoyed.

People were loitering out in the parking lot smoking an abundance of Marijuana. At some points it was so strong it smelled like we were smoking with them. Just disgusting. Maybe this location should hire security.

Room was clean and large, had refrigerator and microwave. Elevator was available. Room was modern (updated?). Room was free from most outside noise.

Sink drained extremely slowly, towels were small, no tissue dispenser. The A/C heating unit was so loud you could not run it and sleep at the same time.

I like that the room was updated. All the staff we encountered were really nice and helpful.

Even though it's a non smoking facility our room smelled of cigar. We had to go to target and buy fabreeze.

Staff has great hospitality. Very kind and friendly. No extra fees for pets. And overall was very great stay.
