Quality Inn San Jose Airport - Silicon Valley

The manager helped a lot due to I wanted to check in early.

I have stayed here many times as a single traveler and I have always felt safe.

Room smelled musty or maybe even moldy. the air did not circulate well. Saturday night a bus load of travelers took up most of the parking lot. Sunday at precisely 7:00 am the lobby, sitting and dining area were packed with Bus travelers and their luggage, that other guests were left out. The travelers were seen taking fruit , yoghurt and other items to save for later snacking. We resorted to a meal on the road home.

The beds were so soft. In general all hotel beds are fairly soft and I know they can’t have a bed firmness for everyone but I didn’t wake up with back and neck pain so just keep that in mind. And out AC unit did not have its buttons and it was very confusing as to how we were supposed to control it until, before leaving, we discovered it had a wall mount to control it with hence the no bottoms on the unit itself.

This is a really great hotel. Especially the location. You have Milpitas right up the street, if you travel in the other direction there's Safeway and that whole Rivermark shopping center is always a win/win. A huge plus that it is right off the 880 freeway.

Only thing I would have changed about this trip was the breakfast. I understand the lack of breakfast was due to covid. But I have stayed at this location several times before. If you're lucky enough to try the breakfast offered. You won't be disappointed. Make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, etc. I am making myself hungry just thinking about it :)

Room was clean and had plenty of storage options for us to organize our luggage. Room was comfortable enough to make our stay pleasant and restful.

The breakfast needed variation. The same hot foods were served every day with toast and muffins being available. Lastly the location is on a one-way traffic street which made getting to the property a little tiresome.

If says high-speed Internet, but it was inconvenient because it was cut off more often than I thought

Clean, well maintained and friendly staff. Not a single bad encounter the entire time. the room was a good size, perfectly clean and breakfast was good.

The location isn’t the most ideal if you’re staying without a vehicle but if you’re a walker, it works.

Breakfast was fine.

Your staff member at night Jackie, gives very poor customer service. She was yelling at another customer for asking her to fix the door key. He was actually very patient. My keys did not work all week. had to stop each night to also rekey them.

Breakfast is good, they have delicious waffle, but the orange juice is a little bitter

I love laundry, they have a laundry room, but not enough quarters to exchange, I need to cross the street and make some exchange

This Quality Inn was one of the better ones I've stayed at - Both the public space and our room were clean and welcoming, with everything in good working order. The bed was comfortable too. The staff on duty were super friendly as well. We only stayed for a night and had to leave super early the next morning so we didn't get to check out the breakfast. The location was excellent with a short drive to downtown San Jose and Milpitas.
