Wine Valley Inn

We booked the Chateau Loft, the location of the place is very good, walking distance to everything. On others review some says bed is uncomfortable, but it was comfortable and we slept good. Staffs are nice! The complimentary breakfast was ok, there’s eggs, sausages, tater tots, bread (they have nice bread toaster), danish pastries, yogurt, milk, coffee, hot chocolate, tea and different kinds of spread. Their dining area is very clean and there is staff on site making sure of the cleanliness and consistently stocking up everything and making sure guest were well taken care of (especially the asian lady- forgot to ask her name). 🫶🏻The place is clean, the garden is beautiful and free to walk around! Free and spacious parking. They also have honor bar in the room and its pretty cheap. Staff at the front desk will give you Solvang map and winery places to try.

I’m not sure if air conditioning is not working but atleast there’s a fan with remote in the Chateau Loft where we stayed. There’s 2 flat screen TV in our room however the TV downstairs is not working.

We had such an amazing stay here! My family and I came for a one-night birthday trip to Solvang on a Thurs-Friday. Parking was easy and free - with lots in the front and back of the property. We were able to check in early and were even offered an upgrade to a cottage! What a nice birthday surprise! The staff was so friendly and professional. The cottage was roomy with a dining area, living room, kitchenette, large accessible bathroom and bedroom with a private patio and hot tub. We didn't get to use the hot tub but wish we could have! Everything was clean and the beds (including the pull out couch) were extremely comfy. Location was great and within easy walking distance of the main drag. Highly recommend this property - we will definitely be coming back!

The complimentary breakfast is good! They have fresh danish, and it’s delicious! They even have a complimentary tea and coffee bar that is open at night. I love the fireplace they have in the courtyard. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious with lots of drawers space. I love how close it is to everything especially our favorite restaurants.

No elevator to the 3rd floor which is challenging when you’re lugging suitcases, pack and play, and extra bags for baby toys and dog supplies. I don’t recommend the 3rd floor for families. Our room didn’t offer any view. It looked out into the hallway.

Our junior suite was great for our family of 4, the sofa bed was clean and comfortable, which honestly surprised us. The king bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean, the shower great. The best feature was the fireplace, it worked well and the logs were complimentary, it was very relaxing after a busy day. The breakfast buffet was very good, especially the danish pastries and the lady helping out was very helpful and nice. It was very well located.

The sink wasn't working properly, a bit clogged. We missed having a microwave.

This is such a cute Danish inspired hotel, with separate room entrances, felt like a cottage stay. The breakfast was a good spread, with eggs and sausage, and I'm grateful for a water dispenser for our water bottles. Nice that there's a parking lot. We liked the decor, and the common areas were very welcoming.

When booking, I thought we'd have a jacuzzi in our room but at check-in found out that we didn't book the right room for that, so that was a bit disappointing. The smell of air freshener/cleaner in the room made both of us feel sick in the night, coughing and stuffed up. The room could've been cleaner, we found hair (not ours) in both the beds and the bathroom. Our view was of a dark fence in the back, and there was a LOUD fan noise in the ceiling all night, even with the heat on "auto" it was not relaxing and made us feel like we were in a bunker.

We enjoyed the front desk customer Service. The young lady helping us was super sweet and kind. We enjoyed the hospitality of the two individuals that took care of making sure the breakfast was stocked as well.

I guess I can't complain about the bed, but we woke up sore. I think it was too soft for our liking. The floors appeared to not be mopped clean. We used the towels to dry the floors when we walked in from the rain and the towels were black. Kind of yuck. There were yellow stains on our comforter as well.

Great location, close to the main strip, restaurants and stores. We fell in love with the Solvang architecture , every single person we met was welcoming, calm and provided a great customer service. We wish the hotel had a pool since the weather is super hot (not like we spend a lot of time in the hotel since we wanted to explore the town). The fitness room is really cool , they even have a peloton bike, dumbbells in all the weights , medicine balls etc. The room we got was really cozy and with enough space for 2. Solvang stole my heart!

I thought the breakfast (that is included )would be more complete or a bit nicer . Not a big deal since there's a lot of restaurants that are A MUST in the area. They have a bar in the room and sell the stuff like water and sodas. we bought some nuts and they were expire. maybe take a look on that.

Charming place to stay. Loved our room which was on the ground floor with a lovely garden view. The outdoor fireplace near our room was definitely a nice touch. Mariah the late night receptionist was so welcoming and made our stay in Solvang all the more enjoyable. Helen who looked after the breakfast station was also very attentive. The Danish pastries are a must. Thank you 🥰

The only thing that concerned me was the use of disposable plates and cutlery for breakfast. Would be nice if they could use proper crockery and cutlery. Also less packaging

The location is perfect, literally steps away from almost anything in Solvang. It is pet friendly, though with a fee of $25 per pet per night (except for service animals). It was nice to have a dog bowl and treats waiting for us in our room! Also the hotel grounds are beautiful! The garden area and all the seating options are spectacular. The breakfast was also pretty good with a nice range of options. The overall aesthetics of this Danish-y hotel are nice!

While I loved the updated rooms, the only complaint my partner and I had is the AC and climate control. It was muggy and humid in our room and it never seemed to dissipate, even after opening the windows at night.

We picked Wine Valley Inn for it's location and value. The room was comfortable and the garden area was beautiful. The reception desk and food service personal were so friendly and helpful. They helped us book a wine tour that was so much fun and exactly what we were looking for. Thank you to the staff at Wine Valley Inn for a wonderful stay! Dennis and Colleen

This is not a five star hotel. It's friendly, quaint and has smaller rooms. With this in mind there was not anything we dislikes about it. We didn't spend much time in the room but it took us a day to hit the correct button to get the TV working. User error:).
