Heavenly Inn Lake Tahoe

The blinds on the windows had broken and missed slats, our room was on the first floor and there was no privacy because of that , and at nights the car was parked in front of the window and the bright light of the headlights lit up the whole room. I don't take into account the little things like a front door gnawed by an animal, a broken kitchen cabinet door and a refrigerator without a handle.

Finally Finally!!! they finally got a snow plow machine!! last year I stayed here, they didn’t have one and the city took forever to come shove the snow out of the drive way!!! I even have to go out to shovel the snow with the employees and wouldn’t be able to go out till 12. It was a horrible experience, but this year they had a snow plow thing and that made it so much easier to wake up to a driveway that is ready. So much more convient!

I did not like the parking, it is extremely small and confusing, they should have signs stating where we can park. I get irritated because sometimes the parking is taken up by people who don’t even stay at the hotel. It was very annoying to deal with a small parking lot.

Our room had a full refrigerator, dishes, a kitchen sink, a microwave, and a toaster. The rooms were clean and the people running it were polite. I believe it is a family run business.

We saw on the map that the beach was within walking distance, but it's a private beach and this place does not pay to be part of their association, so we would have had to pay $95 to go to the beach near the hotel. We drove to the free beach. It would be nice if they joined the association so that they offered some competitive perk to the hotels nearby.

the place was nice it’s in a good area close to the casinos, I like how the room was taken care of and the bed was comfortable ac worked great good channels on tv as well I did see a bear for the first time.

i was casually walking to my car with my wife and many cops were outside one passed into the parking lot and gave me a hard stare as soon as I left they got behind me and followed me for the next 2 miles and when I got out of the store they were outside waiting , i felt a bit harassed but nothing too serious other than that the place was good

I loved the location, and the cabin, glam decor. I loved the fluffy down alternative comforter and the comfy chair with ottoman! Bring your own pillow, if you’re picky about your pillow!!! We had a sliding glass door that looked out onto some beautiful snow covered trees, and snow on the ground! They could use some WD 40 for all of the squeaky doors, that you can hear, neighbor open and close!!!

The Jacuzzi was out of service!

I liked that the suite was upstairs separated from all other rooms, so we had no neighbors above, below or on the side of us. And it was like a nice sized studio apartment with a lil kitchen n full size fridge and microwave. Also had a separate shower and jacuzzi soaker tub.

The shower was kinda small, only big enough for 1 person. And the tub could have been a bit longer also, I couldn't fully stretch out. But the tub was pretty deep, so that kinda made up for not being as long.

Great location, you can leave your car parked at the hotel and walk through the streets where there are all the restaurants

Very dark room, the window faced the front door of the other room so we had to leave the curtain closed at all times (The curtain was black). I found a child's toy next to the bed. Pillows too soft.

It's Queit and pleasant.

The lakeside beach is private beach and it charges 25 dollars per adult and 15 dollars kids above 5.

The room was clean and quite big. A kitchenette was a good bonus, especially if you stay longer.

I heard the neighbors speaking loudly in the room next to us and below us all night. Consider that because of the proximity of casinos, you may have nosy neighbors, especially if you travel with kids. It affected my sleep quite severely.

It is centrally located to down town, walking distance to casinos, shops and dining. The place is quite old and the owners are doing their best to upgrade the accomodation within the limits of an older building.

The furnishings are old and need some up dating, but understandably the Hote has been around for over 60 yrs, and you need to expect some things will not look, feel, or be new.
