Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Heavenly Village Area

I loved that they had an option for my room to be closer to the lobby. Considering I have a toddler it was much easier to get to breakfast. Breakfast had a good selection- bagels, jimmy dean breakfast sandwich, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, waffles, apples, juices, coffees, tea. It wasn’t a loud location at all. Close to local businesses and restaurants.

Pretty outdated, needs a paint job and some pictures on the wall lol. small shower in my room. Could’ve been cleaned better, ceiling had water stains. The parking lot was horrible- my husband had to shovel an area for us to park in and staff didn’t offer.

The breakfast exceeded my expectations! There were quite a few options and it surprised me. The lodge had very friendly and helpful staff! The bed was very comfy and the sheets clean and silky. The water was very soft on my skin and the area was SOOOO freaking perfect and convenient. Plenty of restaurants and grocery options while still being very scenic. We were nearby a lot of fun and free activities, and I recommend this place a lot. I would stay again for sure.

The only issues we had was the AC unit being a bit loud and the housekeeper not properly vacuuming. For the most part it was very clean but if the floor isn’t vacuumed, the room will smell a little weird and there was quite a bit of dust in the air. I would wake up with my nose a bit stuffy because of it, but I know mistakes happen and that doesn’t really say anything about the lodge itself, just the staff member. The only other thing I can think of is not having ventilation in the bathroom, but there was a window so it was fine! Other than all of that, I had no issues!

Staff very nice. Was very glad to fin portable fan in closet as wall fan (or a/c?) was way too noisy and could not control.

Maybe a room cleaning after 3 days would be good even though I didn't ask for it. Railing on stairs from 2nd floor had peeling paint exposing wood and I scratched my hand and almost got a splinter. Fixing this should be a priority. Also other signs of deterioration of physical property need attention.

The hotel was older but clean. The staff was very friendly.

The location was not bad but not within walking distance to restaurants or shopping. The second day we were there someone came in with a blower by our door which lasted a long time. It was very loud and almost afixiated us. Also blew dust on the cars in parking lot.

Solid breakfast. Get there early if you want one of the breakfast sandwiches. Seems like they've cut back on breakfast a bit from the pictures, but I was grateful for hot and cold options each morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not many amenities at the hotel, but that was to be expected. Location was ideal and within walking distance of ski, food, and beverages. Bed was comfortable, loved having a microwave & fridge in room.

Rooms were a bit outdated and in need of a renovation. Hot water was "mostly hot" with limited pressure. Heat is supplied by a giant vent in the room that was pretty noisy. All of this was expected, it's a budget hotel.

The amenities were nice. The bed was comfortable enough and the pillows were fluffy the way I personally like them. Continental breakfast was helpful and appreciated.

I think it has the appearance of a lower quality place but it’s honestly fine and they keep it clean. I think a lot of the hotels/motels around South Lake Tahoe are just pretty old.

Most would say it's run down. Granted, it is winter, and there is some updating that could be done. I absolutely loved this little quaint place. Our room was massive! The bed was comfy; the wood fireplace and jacuzzi tub were used daily. The staff was amazing and took good care of us. I definitely will stay with them again.

There really isn't much to complain about. The breakfast wasn't top-notch, but there were frozen breakfast sandwiches, a waffle machine, instant oats, yogurt, and cold cereals. It did the job on the days I actually got up to go eat. The bed was comfy but definitely needed another pillow. Pillows were very nice down material and 4 on a king. It obviously didn't bother me enough to ask for another. Lastly, the water pressure sucks; however, I did use the jacuzzi the most, and you just had to finesse the nob to a just right position to on and off. Not really a complaint, made memories, and overall loved the charm and quirks.

Breakfast was a wonderful bonus! There were variety of food! Waffles fresh made, hot and cold cereal, English muffin sandwiches. Fresh coffee (few kinds) with sweetener or fresh milk, cold drinks, and etc. Clean tables in lobby area for breakfast made it cozy and nice! We love our stay at thus place very much! The receptionists were very friendly and helpful! They provided information about city and places to go. Pricing was good! Great location! That was a wonderful trip! Thank you!

Towels in the room were not so new, but clean, and a bed cover was pretty old, but linens on the bed were new and fresh, though. They better change some towels and bed covers.

The commentary free breakfast was a plus, and a great way to start our day! I loved the fact that it had a microwave and a refrigerator in the room.

The towel rack could have been closer to the shower, but I made it work. No hair dryer, but it had a microwave and a refrigerator that more than made up for it.

The Facility and room were clean, staff was friendly and the location was in walking distance to everything - food, shopping ski-lifts, etc. The room came with a large flat-screen TV, good internet, a coffee maker and a small fridge. Ice maker and soft drinks down the hall and a laundry room. Parking was plentiful.

The room and facility were clean but slightly dated. The continental was what you would expect during covid time, meager. They did have a selection of juices, coffee, muffins etc. There looked to be a place for a waffle maker, but none was out - thanks again covid.
