Harmony Motel

I had room #6, which I highly recommend: it's at the end of the building and row of other rooms. It's nice to have one free wall, not shared with another guest. The property is super cute and Ash is the most lovely owner and host. She sets you up with all the need-to-know upon arrival and really cares about your stay. I'm very familiar with the J-tree area and have stayed many times. I like the Harmony Motel because of its personality, aesthetic and you feel like you are staying in the park. Plus, the pool is quite wonderful for a smaller property: well-maintained and the perfect cool temperature. I've found that a lot of 4-5 star places keep the pool way too warm when it's already warm or hot outside. Will definitely stay again!

It's a 2-star property, so just take care with interacting with the facilities, they are doing well but require gentle handling.

We stayed here for 3 nights in the first half of February. We liked the location itself with its U2 vibe, the kindness and discretion of the host who explained us the basic care and respect that the apartment needs without pressing us (you get everything you need for your stay but remember: this is a classic location and you are in the desert!). And again: the proximity to Joshua Tree NP's north entrance and Indian Cove; the proximity to the city centre and to a Stater Bros.

Located several miles to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Near a grocery store (they also make sandwiches). Room had a nice full kitchen including a stove/oven, fridge, microwave and seating for 4. Plus all needed plates, utensils etc. Even a toaster. It is January so we didn’t use the pool but Ash was happy to warm up the hot tub whenever we wanted. Heater worked well.

Had an issue with weak Wi-Fi the first day but Ash quickly solved the problem.

everything! the rooms are bigger and more spacious than some hotels and other motels I’ve stayed in, which was a pleasant surprise. could have stayed here for longer as it’s perfect location to Joshua Tree National Park, as well as local restaurants and bars as well as super markets

if we had to be super picky some of the decor and furnishings are slightly out of date, but that was no issue for us.

Our room was clean and well air-conditioned. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even though we arrived later than expected. The pool was cold but that was perfect because it was super hot and we had it all to ourselves! It was nice to have a kitchen so we could make coffee in the morning and put our camping food in a fridge. We just wish we could've stayed longer!

It’s a really cute place! I love the pool and the vibe. the room is so spacious and have a kitchen! It is tastefully decorated and the owner charged a fair price for a Coachella weekend! It’s very close to the north gate of Joshua Trees National Park. Check in was very smooth - got to know the front desk lady is the owner. The pool and jacuzzi are really nice!

AC is slightly loud but not a big deal.

Charming spacious comfortable and clean rooms with a history. A unique property with rooms big enough to be a studio apartment, kitchen included. Pool and hot tub and mountain views were a bonus. Short drive to either TwentyNine Palms or Joshua Tree towns for food and amenities. Short drive to either NP entrance.

I was very satisfied with our stay.

The property was cute and quaint. It was a very relaxing stay. We enjoyed sitting outside in the desert garden. Although we didn’t swim, the pool area was really nice. We enjoyed the privacy and the amenities.

The only thing we were confused about was the parking, but this was quickly cleared up management.

Very clean and comfortable room, including a well furnished kitchen and bathroom. Very nice garden outside and also pool. Position very close to Joshua Tree National Park and to Twentynine Palms town.

Close to the Motel there is a big street. There is a few traffic during the night, but sometimes you could hear the cars.

Quaint, comfy hometown motel. Large room, high ceilings, plus fairly well stocked kitchenette. Stayed in room 6. View is amazing!! Manager Ash is great!! Warmed up my room for me before arrival. Grounds are well-kept, even with the desert winds!

Some highway noise, but bearable.
