Sure Stay Plus by Best Western Twentynine Palms Joshua Tree

It's a cheap place but the WiFi was very good, the water was hot and there was a microwave and fridge, so the basics were here! It's very conveniently placed near the entrance of Joshua Tree National park (east entrance) and 500m from a supermarket. The staff was very nice and our toddler even got a toy gift!

It's a cheap place and we got what we paid for: the power plugs were malfunctioning (hard to charge our phones), the faucet was misaligned (spilling water everywhere), the towel rack fell off, the bath tub can't hold water, the AC is super noisy...

The room was new, or at least it looked modern. The bed was very comfortable. I liked the toiletries they offered (gut quality and a normal size bottle to use). It is a short driving distance from Joshua Tree Park and there are many place to eat nearby.

Overall was the room clean, but we found some crumbles on the carpet on the entrance. Nothing too bad, but they could have vacuumed a bit better.

First room we checked into reeked of weed. Don’t know if it was the previous occupants or the cleaning staff, but even a passerby in the hallway stopped when we opened our door and was shocked at the smell!

The bed was very comfortable and was very happy there was 24 hour front desk service. The Co2 alarm went off a few times in our room and the staff told us to disconnect it because they couldn't come to check it.

Extra shelving in the bathroom, plenty of towels, pack n play provided, hot breakfast, mini fridge and microwave, comfy bed

would have preferred 1st level room given we have a toddler and there was no elevator option

The rooms were very nice. I like how the room service don’t come to your room unless you ask them to, that gave me relief to leave my valuables out freely.

The food for breakfast didn’t have much flavor. The spa pool was broken and dirty. Only one ice machine worked.

The location was excellent since it was close to the 29 Palms entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. Our room was away from the road thus quiet. There were quite a few Quail running around and eventually resting at night outside f our door (fabulous sounds). The breakfast was pre packaged due to the Corona Virus pandemic but still kept us fed. It was self serve and masks were required. So all was very well done. The room was very clean. The staff was great.

Our room door locked us out on our second night and the manager and maintenance man had to be called out to unlock our room. All this on Thanksgiving and all done with smiles and many apologies. The staff moved us into the adjacent room (just n case). Sadly our upstairs neighbors were very noisy so this second room was not nearly as quiet as our first. The staff were very helpful and speedy fast and solved a problem that could have been very unpleasant before it got that far.

The property was OK, but the shower was filthy. The shower curtain had mold on it, and there were hairs in the shower.

Awesome breakfast. Had something for everyone. Staff was super nice, from front desk to breakfast attendant. Huge clean room.

Outside is run down. Pool was super gross...my kids still swam in it. Our room smelled like old man farts.

The staff know me by name and treat me like family doing whatever I new may ask of them if possible. They give me extra time if I'm running behind and Allow me to check in early when needed and except my bulldog as my nurse and don't charge me extra for him he helps me, I have a heart condition and without him I would be a mess.

I would say what I didn't like would be as a loyal customer and preferred I don't see a lot of discounts
