Desert Hot Springs Spa Hotel

The mineral water and hot aquifer make this place the best in DHS. Eight different pools, each a different temperature are great for both relaxing and swimming.

I have been coming here for something like 30 years. The hotel has gone up and down as far as looks. I must say that the staff has always been great and still is to this day. The rooms do need to be updated and there are some repairs that need to be done around the place for sure and they know it and are making strides to do so. That being said The rooms are comfy, big and clean. We come here not for the rooms but for the thermal pools that we can use 24/7...our last trip here we went to several shows up at pappy and Harriet's in pioneer town...and came back around 2 am and had the pools to ourselves...it was nice...we probably spent five or six hours a day in the water about an hour at a time. The bar and the restaurant are a nice addition to our stay. We had some good honest food, not fancy but very good and the staff there is great. The bar has always been a good value. They make good stiff drinks and have some variety of beers on hand

Been coming here for about 25 to 30 years.bi have seen it's ups and downs . I can see that they are starting to put money back into the place. It is a long slow process. That being said, if you're looking for a decent place to stay where you can get a good night's sleep and enjoy the natural hot springs water. This is that place . It is not fancy but it is comfortable..

When I got.my room they had freshly cleaned the carpet, so it was damp. That was fine,but I could not adjust the thermostat, the unit never shut off so at night the room was very warm.. had to sleep with the sliding door open, just ment I was woken up a lot as people head in and out of pool area...

The hot tubs are excellent. The restaurant and bar are great - delicious food, wonderful service and at a bargain! This hotel is quite old and in constant need of repair and maintenance but the staff is continually scurrying around to keep things as clean as possible. We LOVE the laid-back and very casual atmosphere of this place. Everyone is friendly, the beds are comfortable and the pools never close. At great prices, this is our go-to spot for some carefree R&R.

This hotel is not for everyone. As stated, it's very old and fairly run-down but it is clean enough to just get by and the pool water is always clean even if the tiles and coping are missing and cracked. Just about everywhere you lay your eyes you will see something that needs some repair. If you are a fancy-pants, you will hate it here. If you enjoy a good bargain in a VERY relaxed atmosphere, you will be happy. There is no coffee maker in the room but you can get a gigantic cup of good hot coffee at 7am and go drink it while soaking in 104' pool!

The facility if old and in need of many repairs but our room was clean, service was very good and the pools were great, plus location was ideal for our stay. although the shower facet wouldn't totally shut of the shower was clean and lots of hot water. Also coffee maker, fridge and microwave were much appreciated. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. This resort is what it is,

It's an old structure and noise was an issue on and off, effecting sleep.

room, hot pools and the fact that the same water from the vents is what is piped into each room, even if the pressure and temperature fluctuate, it is nice to know it is healing waters throughout the resort in every room Nice they keep abreast on the temperature at each hot pool and that one remains at 104-106 degrees Attended to immediately when my TV wasn't working

the sauna closure I should have trouble-shooted further with the maintainence guy who was excellent and found no batteries in the TV remote believing that to solve the issue, although the TV was in another mode and I couldn't get cable channels. I actually wanted to eat my in-room meal so I told him I didn't need him any longer after he kindly changed the batteries. It's okay because I was in a non-TV mode, although I would've liked to watch a movie while I was eating!

The best thing about this resort is the hot water from the deep wells. The overall condition of the resort is lacking but I'm afraid that if they made the upgrades, the cost would be out of reach for most of the guests. It's a great family facility and we always have the best time here.

The rooms are straight out of the 70s and they could be a bit cleaner and better maintained.

they are busy places,they had lot of customers that day,so customers very enjoyed the pool ,being that the pool in the evening is dirty if can more take care the pool pay attention ,will be perfect.

I like staying here but I usually get a lower level room by pools. Even though on 2nd level, my patio slider had no way to lock. Beyond that the room was clean and comfortable. Weather was bad but had plenty to do there. The restaurant and bar were great as usual. Enjoyed relaxing in hot pools.

I didn't enjoy being on 2nd level but that is what was available.

This was a really fun interesting experience, please be aware of this hotel is definitely vintage. But if you love that 1960s charm this is the hotel for you. The food was excellent, he drinks were stiff, and the hot tubs were out of this world.

I said, vintage, and this place could really use an update. But it was incredible value for money, and it was kind of fun to relive that 60s vibe.
