Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Colorado Springs North Air Force Academy

We have stayed here 4 times in the last 1 1/2 years visiting our son in CS. It is very close for us and there are many things close by also for us, restaurants, stores, etc. When we first came it was in 2021 and the breakfast was good but very minimal. Each time it gets better and better and this last time it was excellent with many choices offered. We will probably always use this hotel for our stay when in the Springs. I also really enjoy the lemon water that is put out in the reception area, this is very nice. Parking is also always easy.

We like the location in N Colorado Springs. It is quiet and close by to family. The staff have always been very friendly and the hotel is always clean. I love the upgrade we get with Booking.com to the suite. It is nice to have the extra room to relax on a couch.

I think this Fairfield could do a better job with the breakfast. First off the coffee is very bad. If the coffee was great then the rest wouldn't matter as much. I think you need a waffle maker like your other Fairfield's. There should be individual yogurts instead of a large bowl that everyone is fishing through. Six months ago it was very limited, more than it is now but actually the quality was better. We definitely love a good breakfast and choose hotels for their breakfast.

First of all Andrea who serves breakfast is exceptional. They need to make sure they keep her! She is so friendly and gets to know the customers. The breakfast was hot and had variety each day. The rest of the staff was very friendly and accommodating too. The location is very good and easy to get to the interstate. There’s a grocery store just across the street where we stocked up on waters and drinks and snacks for our week here. We had a quiet room and didn’t hear traffic at all.

The hotel does need a remodel. The light fixtures in the hall are burned and cracked. There’s a panel in the elevator that is broken. It only affects things visually but it’s noticeable. For this type of hotel I expected better. The mattress is a soft mattress and we are used to firm. It feels worn out. The spa and pool were drained and not in operation. The communications we received in advance said that the pool would be open but spa closed. We were disappointed both were not in operation. The fire pit outside did work but not all staff knew how to turn it on. We were told that has now been corrected.

This property was so clean and quiet!!! I’m not sure how old it is but it felt new with everything clean and white. No smoke smell anywhere❤️ Overall it was such a nice stay we seriously considered changing our travel plans to stay here longer...plus the free upgrade to a suite was extra awesome! On our next trip through CS we will either stay here or at Drury.

Breakfast options were ok (bacon, sausage, eggs, cheese omit, muffins and fruit) but required a staff member serve it to you in a throw away container. Our family would have liked to see waffles and cereal options.

It was clean, the bed was comfortable.

The room was described as a 2 room suite. It was no bigger than a standard room and the only thing that kinda made it 2 rooms was a small wall in between the bed and the sitting area. It was our anniversary and I was hoping for a very nice room for the $200 I paid. I could've stayed somewhere with a much bigger room. The room was also located right above the lobby and had zero view from the window due to the design of their building.

The location was great...no traffic noise and not alot around it but convenient to shopping, food and gas. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful thank you Lacey and Andria. The breakfast was the best we've had since leaving Florida. We actually had a hot breakfast along with bagels, toast, muffins, cereals, juices etc (not like the others where we got a poptart, granola bar, muffin, and one drink..2 gave a microwaveable sausage biscuit). We enjoyed our week stay here.

Room was clean and comfortable. The room was quiet. The hotel needs to be updated. We would stay there again. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was ok nothing to brag about. Pretty typical hotel breakfasts.

Fairly new hotel, good location, clean throughout and comfortable beds. Landscaping was pretty and the views were great.

Trivial things like no bags in the room trash cans. Also guests that let doors slam over and over at 2 am, 4 am, and 5 am with no concern for guests sleeping. (This is not the hotel’s fault and I probably shouldn’t mention it here but I’m grumpy from lack of sleep from that reason and maybe it will help others be aware - LOL).

It was very clean. Great breakfast. The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond expectations! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

The water pressure was very low. Everything else was fantastic!

Great location for access to the Air Force Academy. The facilities were clean and in good shape. The breakfast was outstanding with great warm and cold options to choose from.
