Homewood Suites by Hilton Colorado Springs-North

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. I appreciated the anti-bacterial wipes in breakfast area and hand sanitizer in other areas.

Shower curtain bar was not secure and curtain would open on both ends during shower. The arm chair and sofa bed were worn out and very uncomfortable. Difficult to have that extra person sleeping on worn out springs (sofa bed) for three nights. The kitchen needed serious cleaning around refrigerator floor (sides & backs). Trash being left in elevator alcove (I assume by guests) was not being picked up often enough to keep clean and without strong odors.

Staff was always super nice and helpful. From the front desk to the housekeeping. The room was nice and liked the little kitchen with a full refrigerator, microwave (had a overhead microwave that did not work but had one on the table that did), flattop stove, dishwasher, pots, utensils, cups, and plates. We liked being able to bring in groceries to make some meals there. They even have several gas grills to grill near the pool. Children enjoyed the outdoor pool although got quite cold later in the day. Pool hours were 9 am to 10 pm. Check out was later than original thought. It was 12 noon instead of 11. Had a hot buffet breakfast every day which was great. 6 am to 9 during the week and 7 am to 10 am on weekends.

Fold out couch for children was a thin mattress and they said they could feel the springs. We had to put other blankets down to make it more comfortable for them to sleep on. Our bed was fine. Trash wasn't picked up outside our room towards the end. Was picked up prior the same day. This was due to Covid they did not come in your room and if you wanted them emptied you had to put them out. We also had to put out our used towels outside our door and ended up asking for clean ones at the front desk. We thought they were going to be left outside our door.

Breakfast was good - really like all of the options they had. The bed was also comfy, and our room was quiet

The lobby floor was visibly dirty and there were bags of trash outside peoples doors in the hallways. Also, a lady at the front desk made us wait for her oncoming co-worker to arrive in order for us to check out. Kind of unprofessional. When we checked in it took 45 minutes of waiting in line because no one was at the front desk.

My husband and I did not stay here ourselves, we reserved it for a person we were buying a vehicle from, which he delivered from across the state. We have confidence in Hilton properties and he mentioned zero complaints about his stay so I’m certain the accommodations were as wonderful as usual.

The only glitch was that we booked and prepaid for the room so that the gentlemen staying wouldn’t have any expense and there was some mix up with the front desk that said they needed him to pay with his credit card because they didn’t have my husband’s to charge. My husband had to go over there to straighten it out so it seems like there may be something lost in the reservation process with the hotel not noticing prepayment or something.

Great location; easy to get to everything. The breakfasts were great. The front desk staff was VERY helpful sorting out a mix up with our reservation.

The couch bed wasn't super comfortable, but I guess that's to be expected.

Availability at last minute. Bed and pillows comfortable.

Sheets and bedding were worn, need to be updated. Bed could have been made better, bedskirt not put on properly.

Nice hot breakfast every morning, Very comfortable king bed, nice spacious suite.

I would have like to be closer to the exit door for my pet. But I was accommodated nicely on ground floor. Overall, good experience.

Very clean and great amenities. Love the suite and how the room is set up. Staff was wonderful. Great place to stay, especially for families! Very affordable.

Location was awesome. We were able to move around the city easily w access to the hospital.

The fact that they did not inform us of no maid service or replacement of towels. Breakfast could be hot , as some selections were cold.

Room was not as clean and was missing a sponge ( unless those are not a standard provision)
