Avid Hotels - Denver Airport Area, an IHG Hotel

It was very clean. Ample towels and bathroom necessities available. The hot water available for tea and coffee bar area open 24 hrs. was wonderful! Didnt use the pool or excercise room but checked them out both were clean and inviting.

Room had a dorm feeling but modern and very clean. Bed was a bit soft but comfortable. Pillows were flat. Called twice to get another pillow with a 3 hr time frame. No one brought one up. Finally went down to front desk to ask in person. She was really nice and apologized. Two flights were canceled and she was busy. Breakfast was good. But my husband who doesn't eat eggs or oatmeal not so much. Had to get breakfast elsewhere. A waffle maker and a hot chocolate would be nice added options.

The room reminded us of nice European hotels. It included a shuttle to the airport and was close to a nice restaurant. We left on the 5:00 am shuttle. They had fruit and granola bars out for us. Access to coffee was 24 hours.

The only suggestion I have information at the desk about how long it takes to get to Union Station and the Bustang. One person had experience with the train and could effectively help us. The other person was unfamiliar with it and we would have missed our ride if we followed his suggestion.

We are so very appreciative for the kindness given us at Avid hotel. it was a long horrendous travel day followed by us missing one of our flights. On top of everything, Southwest didn’t give us a hotel voucher. the front desk woman at Avis was an angel in disguise. she smiled, showed kindness and gave us a little break, and it really meant a lot late at night after a rough day. the room was clean and service amazing! We will definitely look to stay at Avid again and recommend them to all our friends.

nothing…everything was great

I was immediately struck by the clean look of the lobby. Upon getting my keycards, I was again struck by the room. Clean and simple, nice bathroom, plenty of places to hang things, enough areas for both of us to set our suitcase. The television had both live as well as streaming capacity (cast from my phone).

The power to the room required me to insert a keycard (and remove maybe? We just left our second keycard in the slot since we were only there overnight). What about the refrigerator? If we removed the keycard, would power be cut to it?

The location was convenient by free airport shuttle, restaurants were within walking distance, the staff were nice and the room was bright.

The shuttle didn’t show at airport but a neighboring hotel shuttle rescued us! The morning departure shuttle worked out though! A few electrical outlets didn’t work and we couldn’t turn on tv with the remote (maybe just dead batteries?)... but tv screen lit up with Samsung logo a couple different times in the night… 😳

The place was new and extremely clean. The bed was comfortable. The blackout shades were great. We got a complimentary ride to the airport. The exercise room was clean and sufficient. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Would have preferred having more than a desk chair in the room. We had the basic room with a King bed. I believe there might have been another choice. Breakfast was all carbs. Would have preferred an egg option or something more keto-friendly.

Really good breakfast options at convenient, well-stocked, self-serve location. Easy to get coffee or tea and water (sparkling or still) at any hour. The extreme sparse design worked well to reassure us that the place was easy to clean and kept very clean. The bed was very comfortable.

The room could have had one more chair so that both members of a couple could sit down instead of perching on the bed. The room didn't have any cups (for brushing teeth? drinking a juice we purchased?), so we had to go to the lobby to take a couple of coffee cups.

We booked a double Queen bed room and it was very spacious. Our stay was only overnight due to an early flight out. The room was modern and extremely clean, which was exactly what we wanted. The staff was very friendly. We didn't get the chance to have breakfast, but the coffee bar is open 24/7 with fresh ground coffee beans which was very good. I'm definitely going to look for Avid Hotels in the future.

The hotel did not respond to the question about the pickup point at the airport. However, the driver of the shuttle service was kind enough to ask everybody which hotel they were going and we got lucky to meet the driver right at the Island 3 at gate 512. The hotel was very clean, tidy and the amenities were very attractive. The staffs were very welcoming and friendly. Check-in was very easy and short. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The bed was very comfortable.

The price was a bit higher compared to other motels. I was not happy with the curtains at the window. There should be curtains good enough to block the light coming into the room. Other than this, everything was perfect.

The bottom sheet on the bed was so thin it was see-through. There was no mattress pad. The sheet was placed directly onto the mattress. The bathroom fixtures were terribly loose. The shower valve handle came off completely and the vanity sink faucet was not screwed into the countertop and flopped from side to side. The shower design was terrible. The whole bathroom was full of water after using the shower.
