Homewood Suites- Denver Downtown Convention Center

Well laid out room with kitchen and "king" size bed. Should note that the bed was "king" in width but not in length. Fitness center was very well set up with lots of options for both weights (free and machine) and cardio equipment. Location relative to the Conference Center was fantastic!

Front desk seemed to always be understaffed - Never more than 1 person up front whenever I went by. As such, when I made calls to the front desk (about 10 times), the phone was only answered once. Also, fitness center had two bikes and 3 weight machines that were labeled as "out of order" - Definitely a bummer since these were all things that I wanted to use. Seems that there may be a bit of deferred maintenance going on with so many pieces of equipment being out of order simultaneously.

Hotel is extremely well located. In the midst of downtown and directly across the street from 16th street mall. Everyone there was extremely kind and helpful, and the breakfast was top notch. Lots to choose from and the staff working the breakfast area were so polite, extremely kind, and hard-working. Our room was great and definitely had enough space for us.

Our room was not the cleanest. The bathroom shower could have used a bit more scrubbing and the carpet, as per the usual either needs to be removed or cleaned. Additionally, the heater blew cold air and is inconveniently located over the bed.

I WAS VERY EXCITED WITH THE LOCATION, ALL WALKING DISTANCE. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD NOT GREAT. THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND AFFORDABLE (EXCEPT THE BED).

I FIRST WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT I ALONG WITH MY SPOUSE AND OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS THAT STAYED AT YOUR HOTEL WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED, AND DISGUSTED WITH YOUR UNHOSPITABLE SUPERVISOR NAMED KATRINA JIMENEZ. NOT ONLY WERE WE DIGUSTED WITH HER DEMEANOR, BUT ALSO SEEMED SHE CARRIES A CHIP ON HER SHOULDERS, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, GIVEN HER TITLE, VERY RUDE, NOT AT ALL ATTENTIVE. I AND FAMILY WILL NEVER AGAIN SPEND OUR MONIES AT ANY OF YOUR HOTELS. MS. JIMENEZ NEEDS A 101 COURSE ON RESPECT, POLITENESS, PUBLIC RELATIONS, CONFLIC RESOLUTION, COMMUNICATIN SKILLS, MOST OF ALL DIVERSITY AWARENESS.

The room was excellent we had a panoramic view on the top floor. Very clean, comfortable and very spacious with kitchen and lounge area. Toiletries provided. There is no room service provided unless requested but we were only there for three nights so didn’t bother. The breakfast was ok with hot and cold choices. Location was perfect for walking around the whole city centre.

Check in member of staff miserable. All the taxes added to final bill ie TID tax, State tax, Lodging tax which added to 100 dollars more than booked on booking.com.

Breakfast was Excellent as well as the room! Staff was very friendly. House keeping knocking on the door before 9am waking people up smh, she didn't know no English nor understood English smh, that was the only down fall. Other than that, I enjoyed the hotel alot very nice!!!! Perfect location!

Housekeeping waking us up before 9am and checkout is @ 11am, why do that??? Housekeeping should not be on the the floor until after 11am to avoid knocking on the door and waking people up! Hot Tub was not in use due to the fact some pissed in it smh, pool looked dirty and smerky and cloudy smh, that was the reason we booked at this hotel for the use of the Hot Tub and pool.

The hotel was great and the staff was very receptive. Good location right in the heart of downtown, near convention center and other hotels (Hyatt and Sheraton) that were hosting a conference for my group. The hotel is one block from the 16th street pedestrian mall and is currently one block from the stop of the free 16th St Loop bus line (temorarily re-routed on 15th street, where the hotel is). With that, I was able to make it in from airport in 45 minutes all on public transit. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and fresh - rotated a different protein and egg dish each of the 5 days we stayed. The rooms are clean and spacious.

Despite the hotel staff being very nice and certainly responsive, I was very frustrated that I spoke to 4 different people about fixing a problem with my hotel charges and still did not get a resolution. It was a complicated situation, where I was trying to remove my credit card from the charge (used to reserve the room) and switch it to a university credit card. Despite having confirmation emails from the hotel with credit card authorization dated 3/1 for a stay that started on 3/22, this was not successfully corrected and my personal credit card still got charged.

We had a really large room (51 sqm) with large, well equipped kitchen. Fitness/gym facilities really cool.

The sofa bed is less comfortable than sofa beds in other hotels we stayed in. The pool is reality is somewhat smaller than it appeared to us from website photos. There were 3 small issues in the room that would need fixing (shower head holder, clogged bathroom sink, window shade). Valet parking costs 56 USD per day, while you can park your car yourself at a parking lot literally across the street for 20 USD

The location is central to downtown Denver, close to shops and restaurants. Plus the rooms are spacious, nice and clean. Plus you have room to cook or just relax. It also has great views of downtown. The interior design of the room was modern minimalistic. Check in and check out were easy.

The only things I didn't like is there's only valet parking at the hotel but fortunately there's was cheaper parking just across the street. The another thing I didn't like was the shower glass only covered half the shower...so I got a little cold taking a shower.

The location of Homewood Suites is very good. Close to 16th St. Mall as well as other restaurants and bars. The breakfast served at the hotel was very good as well! Probably one of the better spreads I have had for a provided breakfast. I do wish Booking.Com would allow you to add your Hilton Honors ID to your reservation.

The water pressure in the shower is very poor. My wife and I found it rather difficult to take a shower due to such little pressure. Not to mention, if anyone next door or around us happened to flush their toilet or run their shower, it seemed like we got scalded. Regardless that I understand that it is Downtown Denver we are speaking about, the parking (public and valet) are quite expensive.

Location great for downtown, civic area and public transport. The suite itself was really spacious and bright with plenty of room for 2 large suitcases. The kitchen area included coffee facilities. Bathroom toiletries were nice. Shower powerful and hairdryer effective. The grab and go breakfast was mad busy on the Saturday but otherwise was a great experience and generally when something ran out the lovely staff replaced it. You could get toast, hot breakfast, juices, fresh fruit etc. Really good. Reception staff pleasant. Good value for money.

There are a couple of roof terrace bars nearby that blast music till 11/12pm at the weekend. Bring ear plugs and you’ll hardly notice. Lifts are very slow! Majority of breakfast crockery / cutlery was disposable which seemed wasteful, even if it’s more efficient.
