Hyatt Place Denver Cherry Creek

We loved our stay at this hotel. It was clean, the staff was friendly, breakfast was tasty, we had sufficient towels throughout our entire stay, it was in a great location, and we woke up to a beautiful view of the mountains every day! We would definitely stay here again.

The only thing that kind of annoyed me was that the body soap pump was empty in the shower, and every time we asked for it to be refilled, they just brought us the tiniest of bar soaps. I felt the bar soaps were not sufficient for a hood wash, so I ended up using shampoo for my body at one point. My husband was not too crazy about the pillows, but I was fine with them, and so was my 18 yr old son.

Excellent location for moving my daughter into an apt. close to University of Denver. Room is clean and comfortable. Wasn't thrilled about having to pay a daily rate for parking on top of the nightly pricey room rate, but thanks to checkin staff for telling me that by becoming a Hyatt member, parking is free, plus I can get 2 bottles of water daily for free. Being at a higher elevation than what this Cali girl is used to, I appreciated the water. The included buffet breakfast has a great selection to choose from if sitting down to eat or looking to grab and go.

The price, but being in Denver location, it was one of the better prices for hotels of same caliber. You get what you pay for and it was an excellent stay.

Over all very clean and comfortable, appreciate the variety of breakfast offered. Ease of check in and check was great. Pillows were very comfortable, and bed for the most part comfortable which is so important to my stay. Very clean, and temperature in room very consistent. Appreciated the extra pillows when asked for :)

The website described with pictures, a restaurant with a variety of salads, sandwiches, etc that were available and when we got there discovered not only was there not a restaurant, but just a bar, and the foods pictured weren’t available at all. So that was frustrating and misleading which we disliked greatly. Almost asked for a discount due to that as we traveled a long ways from another state and it was part of the reasons we chose this hotel so we feel that it was definitely false advertising.

The Hyatt staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, and we appreciated their hard work. Kitchen, front desk, and hospitality staff make the hotel a clean, welcoming place. The rooms here are generously large with pull-out couches large enough for two adults atop the two queen beds. No one felt piled up on one another given the generous room size. Very good soundproofing was much appreciated. Breakfast is outstanding. During our five day stay, we enjoyed the variety of meats, the excellent fruit, and tea/coffee stations. Always plenty of food and the kitchen and seating are ample.

Our bathroom fan didn't work and one of the elevators was out during most of our stay. That's unavoidable but it made for heavy backups at peak hours. No covered parking is a negative, especially when we experienced two hailstorms during our stay that caused significant damage to our vehicle. There is no covered parking in the area. For $12 per day, this was frustrating. The entrance is also a bit awkward to get into, shared with an office building. Be very careful going in, as people exiting the parking lot speed out of there.

Room was spacious and clean. Free breakfast was very good- restaurant quality(eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, ect) very close to other areas such as restaurant, gas stations, and grocery stores. safe area and environment.

at the time of check in I paid for the room in full. At check out I was again charged for the room. The front desk staff did a accidental reauthorization. In all they took close to 1200 out of my account for one room. It was a long process to have the mistake fixed. I had to speak to several people until they recognized the mistake. in the end I had to go through my bank and dispute the charge because the motel stated they couldn't fix it on their end. It was a stressful experience, and they did not seem to understand the seriousness of the issue. It was resolved 4 days later. Mistakes happen- not upset about that, just own up to them when they do and get them fixed in a timely manner.

The breakfast was prepared right in front of you. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating! The room was also very clean and nice!

The meals were very small for the amount of money we payed. The breakfast was also hyped up a little too much for just an average hotel breakfast.

I liked the convenience of the towel rack inside the shower stall; that there were real drinking glasses and coffee mugs in the room; and, that the TV offered lots of external input ports.

The OJ at breakfast was a very weak orange drink - it may not have been real OJ. A number of breakfast patrons, over the several days I was there, did not bus their tables after eating. Also didn't like that non-service dogs are permitted to walk through the dining area.

The room was large and beds were comfy. They had a very good breakfast as well as having a bar that sold snacks at other times of the day. The staff were also very helpful and friendly and also gave us some pointers on the good restaurants in the area. The hotel was also very clean!

The wifi was tricky to gain access to and was patchy at times. We also needed to leave early one morning and the breakfast wasn't served at the time that they stated (7am - 10am). We were down there at 7am, but were then told it wasn't 'fully' served until 8am. We were also awoken on our first morning to a rather loud alarm going off in the building (around 6am), though no one seemed phased by it, we would've liked to get a bit more sleep on our first night!

The host at the front was excellent, and I loved her positive attitude! Even though the computers were down, she kept it together. The room was fantastic, and breakfast was great. I liked how all staff looked like they knew what they needed to do during the fire alarms. It made us feel comfortable.

There was one elevator that wasn't working. That may seem like no big deal, but it made getting to your floor take forever. If you wanted to take the steps, you had to go outside and around to the side to get to the stairwell. It actually made conflicts between people using the elevator because it took so long, and it was filled completely in the mornings. If I stayed again, I'd call to see if the elevator is fixed. No one likes seeing or being a part of an early morning confrontation.

Great breakfast great staff Brittany at the front desk was the best gave us awesome recommendations where to visit and the hotel itself was really clean 👌

The only down side was that one of the elevators was broken, so it took absolutely forever for it to come up and down an 11 or 12 story hotel. Also there is no stair access from the bottom floor. 😕 We would have happily used stairs because we were on the second floor . But the rest was great and we will be back when we come back to Colorado!
