La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Denver Westminster

I am a traveling RN. I’ve been driving up from where I live which is about 3 hours away for a month now. I’ve stayed in 3 different hotels 🏨 n the same price range as La Quinta this past weeekend. La Quinta by far exceeded my expectations as far as the quality of room for the price I paid ajd the comfort. I told front desk I worked nights and she put me down n the 3rd floor to accommodate my need to sleep during the day. I had the best sleep I’ve had at La Quinta this past weekend. I felt refreshed and energized before my next shift and THAT NEVER HAPPENS, especially sleeping during the day.

When you travel alone and you try to find the best hotel for your budget you always pay attention to your surroundings. Surroundings were occasionally questionable. But nothing close to what I’ve experienced at other hotels in the area traveling alone

The fact that when you call the number to the hotel whoever answers it is very knowledgeable. I like how when you have a reservation back to back they allow you to stay in your room. They're very accommodating.

That they are understaffed. To get clean linens you have to take them down yourself and turn them in. Only one laundry room with two washers and two dryers.

The service at the hotel was exceptional. I had booked a five-day stay for my family but had to cancel at the last minute. Despite the terms of the booking agreement, the hotel kindly did not charge me for the first day.

How easy it was to check in/out. The cleanliness and convenience of the location. Enjoyed the privacy we received. Cleaning staff does a good job. Overall would stay again at this location.

There wasn't a big variety of the breakfast. I asked for extra pillows and didn't get them. Didn't like size of the microwave, couldn't fit my soup in to warm up.

Hotel is great for the price, it's a little old and could use some TLC but it works great for what we needed it to. A clean place to stay for a good value.

The pool was open, the kids were loud - not much you can do about that though when your room faces the pool. Very small selection for breakfast, but again, can't expect too much for the price.

the lady in the evening was sooo nice and very helpful

although check out was at 12pm the cleaning lady opened the door at 9am, 10am and 11am. someone also called at 10am and when we answered they didn’t say anything. one of the times she opened the door I had just gotten out of the shower. Thank God for the lock on the top.

Breakfast could be available a bit longer, by the time I got there at 8:45 it was pretty slim pickings, the yogurt I had was out of date, tasted sour and gave me a pretty upset stomach for a few hours.

Pillows in the room are really awful, it would be an easy upgrade to switch them up to foam, also shower heads are very low quality another easy upgrade.

Relaxing stay and right down the road from Water World where we were spending a few days!

It was a bit loud outside of the room due to the Highway being so close and the door not having a great seal to block it out, but with the AC on you could barely focus on it. Good stay all the same.

The breakfast and the manager LOL and the beds were comfy

We multiple we had a redo that cords behind the TV that were plugged into one outlet outlet that had like maybe five Splitters fire hazard is very bad

It was an awesome and clean hotel very nice 100 percent, the only issue is I was double charged and made my account 366 dollars negative so yeah over all a great place to be quiet and peaceful, nice staff, but don't like the fact I have to now wait through a dispute to get my money back.

As I said in the section above, I was charged double for two rooms, 366 dollars negative my card sits at. I do not appreciate that, I also do not understand why the agent upon checking in told me that there were four reservations and had to cancel two of them which makes me feel that is how I was over charged. PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE....
